I need to find some cheap accomodation/floor space etc
Any suggestions?

I cant decide where to go tomorrow ... its a long haul (approx 1100km) to Switzerland, France or Italy but looks like its worth it ... i am thinking about heading to Adermatt first, ski on SA, then to Alagna for SU and MO ... any info on road conditions? my peugeot 106 can get through almost anything but still

another option is flying to Geneva and taking bus to Chamonix or somewhere else ...

gressoney:
the spot has been unreachable for days. The major said by phone that gas for heating is near to be over, and they're scared also because there are no general praticioners there...
considering to volunteer for being parachuted there.....

I'm flying into Geneva Saturday am. No idea where to go yet but it looks like it'll be fun.

SSB less hit than crevacol, but it might be hit more between tomorrow and saturday. In aosta, they say champorcher is like piedmont, and to reach champoluc you must have a beacon IN THE CAR!

I am thinking of a post Xmas GVA landing with the idea of hitting Verb/???? until the 11th. Will be traveling solo, but will definitely be bringing all my avy gear and skins and whatnot, and will have $£e for gas and etc.

I wouldn't go to e-berg. There was this weird frozen rain all over the mountain today (even above 2000m). Very annoying thing that got stuck to your goggles and everywhere else.
The snow off piste was pretty funky. Snowing very lightly right now. Unless the temperatures drop and it starts dumping, I would imagine there is plenty of places with better conditions right now. Also, the FIS Weltcup Skispringen is going on this weekend.
