8-week delivery date for BCA Tracker 2, anybody have it in stock?
Finally buying avalanche essentials. BCA Tracker 2 beacon, Traverse EXT shovel and SR3 probe. Very happy, got an excellent deal through promotive. Familiar with the Tracker, reassured by Jackson's patrol troubleshooting the device, been pleased with BCA's stuff in the past. One downside, because of the Tracker 2, the shipment is delayed 8-weeks.
Rented gear again last weekend, debating whether it's worth it to just buy now at full retail. Mid-April seems like a long time away and I may end up renting more times before I get gear and might balance out the "pro" price.
Anybody in Colorado (Summit, Front Range, Eagle, etc.) know a good deal on a similar avy package, ready for immediate pick up? I want to stick to what I'm comfortable with for the beacon (BCA), impartial for brand of shovel and probe as long as it is solid and functional.

Got the gear, much sooner than originally planned. BCA rocks, very excited to put the gear in my pack and around my torso and hopefully never use it.
