Eh, discredited? Your response to a "discredited" poll is to respond with a stat from a "discredited" poll? Jesus, responding to such simplicity is like flipping on a switch, while looking up and saying, "nice try, the dark."

In any event, the fact that something like 17% of the people who voted for Walker said they were Obama supporters AND that 38% of Union led household voters voted for Walker only furthers the point that the whole right versus left thing is being overplayed when for the average voter it's about economic conditions.

Deeply committed partisans like you try to portray this as a sea change in the Red versus Blue Battle of Evermore but what makes more sense, is that for people who aren't soaked in politics it's about choosing public sector pension cuts over higher taxes. To a lot of people, including more than a few Wisconsin Dems AND Union households, Walker's reforms don't sound like such a bad idea in a down economy.

Tell ya what hero - I'm going to be at the Adoption Center this Sunday morning at 6:30 to pick up some stuff there. You can hand me your donation in person.

I'm looking forward to finally meeting the boy behind the crying.
The badge will validate your efforts. God knows you constantly seek validation.

I think I'll continue to do what I want with my money. I'm not going to seek your input. Think of it like skiing. I don't have to check in with you when I go skiing and I don't need you input when I decide to donate my money or time to dog related causes. Instead of going to meet you I'm going to take some dogs training.

The puppies are ready for their new homes. They've got all their shots and each one has a toy with its mother's scent. I'm gonna miss those little pups.

OMG Gwange - you are such a tireless advocate for animals!!! What a great guy you are!! Not only did you bring new puppies into a world where unwanted dogs languish and die in shelters but I'll bet you only charged a few hundred bucks each for the purebred puppies you so graciously brought into the world!!! Good job!! I'll bet Mommy Gwange is really proud of her Special Little Soldier!!!

I hope your "training" excursion went well. Too bad you couldn't take a little time off to help with checking on dogs in this brutally hot weather for KAHR, but I realise a hero like you has to have priorities. Too bad, 'cause as I'm sure you know most animal welfare non-profits can always use fit male volunteers to do stuff that 50+ women (who make up the majority of most volunteer pools for some reason) can't do like haul dog houses or haul tons of food or haul tons of cat litter or do maintainence on facilities*. But yeah - getting their mother's scent on a pure-bred puppies toy before you sell the puppies for hundreds of dollars is WAY more importan! After all - you are an important guy! I hope you don't miss those little pups so badly that you cry!!

    * Oh - I forgot: you're such a gigantic pussy you probably have a hard time throwing a Kong farther than ten yards let alone doing anything even remotely resembling actual work.

To everybody else (y'know - they guys who aren't weak-assed cheapskate cowards): Amanda said that JustGive takes less of a % than PayPal and that's why HEA uses it on their donation page. If it does bother you, just mail it. The sanctuary is way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, but they still get USPS.

In actual Wisconsistan political news: After all the "consession" speeches that the losing Dems gave last week demanding that Walker "stop being so devisive" and start working with the loser Dems, Democrat chairman Mike Tate screamed at the top of his lungs at the state Democrat party convention this past weekend that he can't wait to see Walker in a jail cell. Don't hold your breath Mike. The chances of Walker ending up anywhere near a jail are almost as remote as the chances of Gwange skiing.

Why do people hate dogs so much in Wiscy? I guess they overwhelmingly vote tea party asshats for governor too...so clearly they're heartless a-holes.

Funny thing is KAHR operates in Menomonee Co. Menomonee Co has the highest incidence of heartworm in the state. Anaplasmosis, Lyme and other tick-bourne diseases also run rampant there. It's very common to see dogs with no houses or food or even water in 90+ degree heat. Menomonee Co overwhealmingly votes Democrat in every election.

I'm with you - it's a mystery to me why people are so cruel to dogs and cats. Especially when it's so easy not to be. It's almost as befuddling as a guy who lives in a big yuppiemansion, breeds his purebred dog for profit and can't get enough entitlements who refuses to donate a piddly $5 to a non-profit shelter.

I guess the world's just a wacky place.

I didn't finish. Although Menominee Co almost exclusively votes Democrat it still only totals like 500 votes. It's almost as hard to get your ass off the couch to vote as it is to get your ass off the couch to put some water in your dog's dish. It's not a Dem thing, it's a lazy thing.

Your hatred of purebred dogs must run deep. You're going to have to amend your I Care Badge to say as long as it's not a purebred. Seek help man purebred dogs are as cool as mixed-breeds. The money from the puppies did buy a lot of champagne wishes and caviar dreams, but it also ... Well I don't want to go aggrandizing again so we'll leave that part out.

When Walker entered office in January 2011, the state had a budget surplus of more than $120 million. Walker made quick work of creating a budget crisis, allocating $140 million in corporate tax write-offs and giveaways during his first weeks in office.

Under cover of the manufactured budget deficit, Walker passed legislation that eliminated collective bargaining rights for public sector employees and cut the state’s social services drastically, including all levels of the education system and the state health care program.

Wisconsin’s 2011-2013 budget slashed $250 million in state funding for the university system and later added an extra $46 million in debt allocated specifically to UW-Madison.

Rachel Madcow and a bunch of other far-left freaks had a big thing on that over a year ago. It was immediately disproved. What you posted is pretty much the lefty equivalent of actually believing that Obama is a commie Muslim from Kenya who's trying to brainwash the entire county via flourinated drinking water. Really, the desparate deer hunting thing is a better arguement. True - it's another lame, false, desparate arguement but at least it was proven to be complete bullshit only a few weeks ago instead of over a year ago. I suggest you stick to your tried and true formula of hawking your merchandise and trying to act like you're 23 again. That's the Splat I know and love.

RACINE- Republican State Senator Wanggaard lost to John Lehman by about 800 votes in the recall election on Tuesday, June 5, but the Republican has asked for a recount.

Starting on Wednesday, workers will start pouring over the ballots.

Wanggaard says he wants the recount to make sure there is integrity in the process. Smiling and relaxed, Senator Van Wanggaard spoke out for the first time since election night. "Having had hundreds of individuals that I've been in contact over the past week -- I think (they) encouraged me to do this recount," said Wanggaard.

"Now with the recount we'll be able to compare each specific ward and how they actually counted," said Senator Van Wanggaard. "There's been some questions, quite honestly about the validity of some of the counts."

Right now 834 votes separate Wanggaard and his Democratic challenger and former Senator, John Lehman. "We're very confident that the 800 plus votes that we had both unofficially and in the canvass will hold up," said Lehman.

Lehman contends the election was fair and there was no fraud. "Anyone can make accusations. Anyone can go dumpster diving a week later and come up with something," said Lehman. "It's unfortunate that his last political act is going to cost the Racine taxpayers a lot of money."
OK - so let me get this straight: Shit your diaper and cry for a recall election (which will cost Racine taxpayers a lot of money) because the incumbant is not a Democrat. Then when you come out ahead by the narrowest of margins and under very questionable circumstances and the incumbant askes for a recount, shit your diaper again and cry about how it will "cost Racine taxpayers a lot of money". Yeah - no absurd irony there.

I think if Demodouche John Lehmen really wanted to stop wasting taxpayer's money he would have jumped off a tall building a year ago. Along with all the other recall idiots.

    Question:

Is Walker busting all unions, private and public, or just certain ones?
