Gotta say - Jauch is a douchebag traitor, but I don't like the whole recall thing. Vote him out in the next legitimate election. Like that's ever gonna happen. Everybody knows that after Walker crushes Falk the lib loons will riot big-time along with plenty of out-of-state OWS losers the the normals will finaly say enough and civil war will break out.

In the next couple of days Sen Bob will say something like that. On a related note His recall is picking up steam.
Jauch co-authored a mining bill that would have passed, but Republican State Senator Fitzgerald wouldn't bring up for a vote. He's been making that argument for a while now though his argument go further and discusses revenue splitting. His bill kept more money in the local community whereas the Republican bill that failed sent the revenues to Madison.

You're the one that brought up mining in MN. If they aren't related they why bring it up?

Ok, I think your smarter than that, but lets see. How do you know Sen. Jauch's bill would have passed? The Repubs. have a majority and dont need his bill when they have their own.
Why you would think a Majority would vote for the minority bill is beyond me, you know how politics work, right.
You brought up how MN is having a debate on a mining bill. That bill is on non- ferris mining, not iron mining. There is not a debate on Iron mining as we already know how to do it. So does G-tac. The debate is to appease the Enviro-wackos and their ilk. Iron mining can, and is done without the end the world as we know it. Shit some people are even better off because of it.

You don't know how the "mind" of the average Wisconsin Libronutworks - majorities don't matter. And never overestimate DeGrange's intellegence (or lack thereof).

The one good thing about this whleo shitshow is that it's turning even more people against the Wisconsin Democrat Socialist Suicide Party and the anti-Walker dingbats. If that's even possible.

Admittedly - I don't care one way or another. I'm doing fine plus I'm a psychopath so I don't care about middleclass families on Northern Wisconsistan. But the Pissed-Off Level here has gone through the roof. Used to be it was a bunch of dumbass spoiled brat teachers screaming in Madison. Now it's affecting stuff up here and people are really really really getting sick of these retards. This is going to be the raddest civil war evar.

Jauch's bill would have passed because he co-authored the bill with Republican State Senator Schultz. The Democrats were behind the bill and Schultz was obviously behind the bill so that makes the majority. It was well known the Republican bill wasn't going to pass so if the Republicans wanted to pass a mining law they should have voted on a bi-partisan bill.

Where did I bring up MN debating a mining bill? I didn't even know MN is looking at mining laws.

Actually - one of the Democrats who isn't suicidal was going to vote with the Republicans, but the Socialist freaks yanked his leash and he caved like the good little cog he is. Oh - and Jauch's bill would have been completely useless.

One funny aspoect is that liberals are always shitting their diapers and screaming about compromise and working together and here a "Republican" actually reached across the isle, yet not one Democrat strayed from the Socialist playbook.

...oh - and I made a mistake earlier. I said 80% of the mining jobs would have been union jobs. The correct number is actually 90%.

Well, youy're sounding more and more like...ummm.... a retard loser?

Funny thing - there are a few places around here where people had RECALL WALKER signs at the entrance to thier driveways. They are all gone now. I guess sooner or later even the most clueless morons realise that it's not about Democracy or SHAME! or The Middle Class. The past week has made it pretty clear that it's basically spoiled crybaby teachers and the extreme left against Wisconsin. It's almost as if the Recall dipshits and Dem politicians (again - sorry for the redundancy) are purposely trying to turn as many people against them as possible.

Turns out this isn't true either.

Too bad the Wisconsin Democrat Socialist Suicide Party can't just say "Wow - look! We beat Walker in the recall election! Don't count the votes - just take our word for it!"

Will the civil war be confined to just Wisco or will waterparks in Northern Illinois be brought into the fold as well?

It starts in Wisconsin in June - right after Walker wins the recall election. OWS puppet masters are already planning to call in thousands of out of state rioters. When Obama declares martial law for the good of the middle class babies it goes nation wide. Northern Illannoys? Fuck 'em. Let 'em bleed out.

Actually supposed to be a really mild mosquito season this year. Gypsy moths are supposed to reach plague-like proportions tho. I'm way more worried about the giant underground man-eating worms myself:

Another night of mysterious booms in Clintonville Monday Night

CLINTONVILLE (AP) — A series of mysterious underground booms have been rattling a small eastern Wisconsin city for at least two nights, baffling residents and local officials who were left stumped Tuesday after ruling out numerous theories, from earthquakes to water pressure problems.

The noises, described as rumbles of thunder, sonic booms or fireworks, were being reported in northeast Clintonville, about 140 miles northwest of Milwaukee, on Sunday night but quieted down at daybreak. The sounds started back up Monday night across a wider area and continued until about 5 a.m. Tuesday, said City Administrator Lisa Kuss.

‘There’s no warning, it’s just ‘bam,”’ Kuss said. “I would describe it as startling, an adrenaline rush. Your heart is instantaneously kind of racing because you are not expecting it.”

Local resident Al Miller said he’s been hearing rumblings for a couple weeks but chalked it up to thunder or didn’t think much of it. But an especially loud boom woke him around 3 a.m. Monday. “My house shook and it was just like a shock,” the 71-year-old said. “I got out of bed and was like ‘Wow.’ I thought one of my trees fell onto the house.”

When he went outside and saw the trees still standing, he also noticed his neighbors’ lights popping on because they’d heard it, too.

Harold Tobin, a University of Wisconsin-Madison seismologist, said there are similar reports of booms in different parts of the U.S. and world from time to time. Sometimes they’re explained, sometimes they’re not, he said.

“I’m as intrigued and as puzzled as other people are,” he said Tuesday.

A seismic station near Clintonville has recorded unusual ground shaking since Sunday night. Tobin said such activity can be caused by quarrying, mining and heavy truck traffic, but since the city ruled out those sources, there are no mines or major construction in the area, the university and the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey will likely take a closer look at the station’s data.

Kuss speculated that something within Clintonville may be causing the noises, since no one from outside the city of 4,500 residents has reported hearing them. No one has been hurt, and no damage has been found.

Authorities trying to track down the source found no gas in the sewers or problems with the city water pressure or wells, and nothing was found at an area landfill that might explain the rumbling, Kuss said. Engineers also checked a nearby dam and ruled it out, and there are no nearby industrial businesses or military operations making the noise, she said.

There also have been no recorded earthquakes in the area. “It’s clearly not obvious to anyone involved what is going on,” Kuss said, adding that city officials were encouraging any experts who may have a theory to contact them.

Kuss said local officials were hoping to get audio or video if the booms came back Tuesday night. A meeting is scheduled Wednesday night at the high school in Clintonville so residents could ask questions.

Some residents were just as frustrated as city leaders, and a bit sleep-deprived after being woken up for two straight nights. “When it first started happening it was kind of scary,” said
21-year-old Jordan Pfeiler. “Then it was cool in a way. Now it’s just annoying. I want it to go away.”
True story: about ten years ago I heard the same thing for two consecutive years. In early January around 1 - 2 am I was walking in the woods in Northern Oconto county and I heard what sounded like artillary being fired from about five miles away. The next year at about the same time in the same area I heard the same thing. Both times it lasted for about 1/2 hour. I'll bet the folks in Clintonville reach the same conclusion as I did - the world is a weird place.

WTF is going on here in Wisconsistan? Rioting hoards of libzombies, mysterious night noises, 85 degrees on March 21st? It's pretty much every man for himself now.

Mock - are you still in Wisconsistan or did you move after dumping the trash?

The noises are clearly just the North American continent beginning to split... again. Having ocean front nearby in WI will rawk!!!

1.1 Billion Years Ago – A Near Rift
North America narrowly escaped a fate that has befallen other continents: splitting apart, or rifting. About 1.1 billion years ago, from what is now Kansas to the shores of Lake Superior, the craton began to split. Had this rifting continued, North America would have become two continents separated by a new ocean basin. But after 20 million years, the rifting ceased. The failed rift is 2,000-km (1,200-mi) long. Huge volumes of basaltic magma welled up, creating a stack of igneous rocks 25-km (15.5-mi) thick. Their strong magnetic signals enabled scientists to determine the extent of the rift.
I'm still wearing tha cheese, for now... had rented my own place down on the East Side of Brew City between the University and Downtown and had a fun year being "retired", traveling a lot and enjoying all the nearby bars/restaurants/Lake Michigan/etc. Just recently moved in with my most awesome GF in West Bend, once we get her condo sold we'll start looking for a new place to live/explore out West. Colorado and California are high on the list for now...

Good to hear it man, the daughter is graduating a semester early and the son got a free ride for his sophomore-senior year. So there's something left to have some fun with from time to time (right now).

How did the home improvement for the car accident/hit and run? buddy go ?

I'm still working on things for him... I'm in CO maybe 7 to 10 days some months? Lots completed, a number of projects in various stages, and more he's thinking of doing. You'd think I'd take more opportunities to get some turns in, but not top priority these days... and the snow stunk this year.

Jer, I don't think the revolution will start in Wisconsin. With all this Trayvon Martin stuff going on, my bet is the rhyming reverends get the zombie apocalypse started in Florida.

Florida will burn, but Madison won't be very far behind. They've been gearing up for this for over a year now.

I can't wait to vote for Tom Barrett in the primary. I wonder if he's gonna get the shit beat outta him again? That'd at least give him a bit of a bump. I'll bet The Unions would be happy to oblige.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out. I'll be dumbfounded if they recall him after all the Dems ran out of the state for that one vote that they were obviously going to lose.
