Re-Using Heel piece and mounting holes, JB Weld Or Epoxy?

Putting the heel piece of my fks back on and using the same mounting holes, screws came out clean and should screw back in just fine. Should I use epoxy (if so what kind?) or JB weld? Thanks for the input

If the holes aren't stripped and you're able to crank down the bindings you screw into them, standard wood glue will work to lubricate the threads and seal the holes. Holes will usually take a couple of remounts before they strip out.

    ^^Agreed.

You should be fine with wood glue. If you've got epoxy, feel free to use it. But there's no need to go spend money if you've got some wood glue in the workshop.

the slowest set 2 part is the best epoxy to use look for 12 or 24 hr epoxy ,if filler material is needed I use chopped up fibreglass cloth

I found JB weld doesnt flow which makes it good for filling large voids BUT it doesnt get into screw holes without a lot of poking

heating up whatever you are glueing with a heatgun makes the epoxy flow well and get inot all the nooks & crannnies

I'm guessing that if the skis have metal in them, the bindings will hold just fine, but I'd still be a little leery.
Maybe just a piece of toothpick in the hole?
    Only hand tighten.
    No longer stuck.

Okay, went with 50min marine epoxy after a ski shop suggestion. skied 2 days in powder, took one hard fall and now one of the screws in the heel piece has backed out and i think its stripped. . i do not know what went wrong i was very careful about screwing them in.

what are my options for repair??

Heli-coil. No epoxy, just binding glue. And for God's sake... NO JB WELD FOR SKIS. Ever!
