I lost my much loved TS1 and wasn't quite sure the TS2 was an upgrade to the TS1, but the TS3 looks like an upgrade. I will absolutely buy one of these!!!

hmmmm, according to dpreview, burst mode goes from (ts2)
to (ts3)• Full-Resolution Image
1.8 frames/sec Max. 5 images (Standard mode), Max 3 images (Fine Mode)
• High-speed Burst Mode:
Approx. 6.0 frames/sec (image priority)
Approx. 10 frames/sec (speed priority)
(recorded in 3M for 4:3, 2.5M for 3:2, 2M for 16:9)
i would consider that an upgrade since if i'm doing the burst, i still want full res pics. Does that mean it runs until the card is full at 3.7 fps?3.7fps, Full resolution

i think it's still a limited number of shots at full res, but it's still more than 5 (or 3). can't remember where i read it, but i think it's more like 10-20.
but yeah the full res burst speed is huge, it's too slow on the TS2 and the high speed burst mode isn't at full quality which is annoying.

Do you have a source on that "more than 5 shots"?
