    The snow level is not expected to go up until tommorow night, and it will stay up until early Sat. morning when it will drop again to 25 hun.

    So it looks like Sunday will be the better day. If it does not all melt off that is.

    Interesting Crystal, being farthest south, decided to pull the trigger first. It looks like Snoqualmie and Stevens are both in "wait and see" mode until they see what the next day or two have in store.

    But, I do have to say

    Yeah definately interesting seeing as how Crystal seems to have picked up the least amount of snow so far out of all the resorts. I hate to be a pessimist, but I think I will wait till Saturday morning to make up my mind....and having just checked the updated Crystal page, I will eat my words and continue chewing on my own foot....whoops! The numbers were a little different that last time that i checked!

    The NWAC telemetry shows Crystal got a huge amount of precip last night.

    Just to be safe we should all be leaving our fridge doors open until Friday's freezing level drops.

    Am I reading that right? 19 inches in the past 24 hrs? What's that "-32?"

    Crystal shows 47 @ Rainier Express in the last 24 but a total of 26 (again, if I'm reading that correctly).

    Just got out of a meeting and it looks like Crystal has bumped their storm totals... sweet.

    Still, I am with GS on this one... if come Saturday morning they have lost all the goods I may wait til later in the week. However, the urge to ski may overwhelm me, and I could very well find myself on 410 Sunday morning regardless.

    Radar= Good

    BTW... Thanks Buster!!!!

    KQ: The snow depth readings act up - any time you see it suddenly go to a strange number and stick there, ,something's screwed. Total looks accurate for Crystal, 26" at base, so 14" last 24hrs.

    Meadows looks like the opposite - the base reading looks off (probably because of the winds), but the 24hr looks right at 19".

    You can use the liquid precip. amts as a check for rate of accumulation, they tend to act up less often than the snow depth sensors.
