Thread: Freeskiing World Tour: it's on!

Not a comp skier anymore, barely ever was, but I like watching this stuff. It's what skiing is to me.

Looks like thy got the qualis done at Revelstoke today. Most of the people I know up there are prequalified but I did recognize a couple names, in particular Silas Chickering-Ayers and he's in. Watch out for this kid! Not to mention the drama that he's competing directly against big bro Lars this year.

Gonna be a sweet tour!

I'm easily guessing that none of the qualified athletes have climbed the Seven Summits in a year......

it looks kinda like he might have landed on rocks and/or hit his head on rocks...hopefully he's uninjured...

Stoked to see the winners of last years Ski the East Freeride Tour, Dominick Malauseena and Ashley Maxfield show what they can do in the big venues! I think the live coverage is supposed to start at 10am MST?

Is the Live feed working for anyone else? It just keeps "loading" (i.e. page wont finish loading)

I'm hoping this is because they haven't started skiing yet and there is nothing to see. I'm on a mac if that makes a difference.

Another year, another broadcast fail. Not enough time over the summer to figure out how to use technology I reckon.

Yeah it's like this every year. Prolly got a late start but also technical difficulties are probable. Watch and wait....

And FKNA didn't know Angel's little bro did the seven summits at 17, awesome. He's another one to watch, kid rips, he cleaned up on the junior tour last year. Crazy to think he was competing against teens after having accomplished what many men can't.

I'm seeing video here. Snowing pretty hard, low vis.
