    Atomic: Blog Ski (Men's Skis)

    Blog Ski

You could take a wide, fast, wood-cored big mountain ski and rig a press to tweak rocker into the tip and tail...or you could pick up the Atomic Blog and spend that time ripping powder with a stupid grin on your face.

    Dana Flahr's Review:

This ski is super fun and versatile, especially in skied out conditions
or pow days of less than 30cm, this ski rips all around the mountain and
is extremely responsive in tight trees or chutes. Less tip and tail
rocker and narrower than the Benchetler, so slightly see geared towards
backcountry switch stomping or really deep pow, just a narrower all
mountain ski that I like to shred blackcomb on if it's a regular day pow
hunting in the woods or down D.O.A!

Thanks for review -- looks like a dream ride.
Have not been skiing in 2 years due to calf tear in accident at Alta (hung myself upside down by one ski between 2 trees...) Rocker has since appeared, and my 190 Volkl Vertigo G40's seem more of a challenge than necessary (am 63, 5'10" 190). Do not need to jib, occasional switch in soft snow. Looking for new powder boards. Blogs or Bentchetlers... any advice? How do they differ from S7's?
