Fave Resorts near SLC and Denver?
Hey Guys,
I'm heading out to SLC and Denver in mid January (for the first time) and was wondering if you guys could give me some input into your favorite resorts?
What did you like best about them resort? What resorts have the best POW? What resorts had the fewest crowds? What resorts had the best glades? What resorts had the best/easiest access to bowls and chutes? Etc.
We're riding 3 days around SLC and 2 around Denver. Any information would help!
Looking at Alta, Brighton, The Canyons, Powder and Snowbird for Utah. And Arapohoe, Breckenridge, Copper, Steamboat and Vail for Colorado.
Thanks!
Rick

You gotta check out Sol Vista! Not many people talk about it but it is a hidden gem. Don't listen to people that say otherwise, they are just trying to steer you clear of their primo stashes.

Echo mtn is the closest resort to denver and has very little crowds, cheep tickets, have been known to get more snow than other front range resorts. Otherwise KEystone is epic

In return for explicit photographs of your significant other or female sibling we would consider providing the information you require.

Apparently haven't learned how to use the s.e.a.r.c.h. function yet either for the hundreds of threads on this topic.
Anyway, no one here has any favorite resorts near SLC or Denver - they're all the same, you should probably just stay at Stratton.
You probably want to try Gapic where every thread is on the same subject as yours.

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Echo or Sol Vista for sure. Why not stay home? Most hills in Colorado won't be open untill late January.
"Pffffft, Please."
Never, EVER, give them permission to enter your vehicle, the dogs are not coming.

dont listen to all these jokers. When you get into SLC rent a car and head out on I 80 East and hit up echo mountain. Then when you get to Denver take I 70 west and get your ass up to brighton! Have a great time!

He's officially retired from skiing but might be convinced to come back for one more season at Wolf Mountain.
