Thread: Dynafit Titans half sizes

Hi All,

Very quick, dumb question with regard to Dynafit half sizes.

I recently went into a local shop looking for an overlap AT boot. My foot is mondo 28.5. A shell fit of a Dynafit Titan looks to me like the 28 shell is right for me, however the shop didn't stock any 28.5 boots.

I know typically the shell for a 28 is the same as a 28.5. The "boot fitter" at the shop insisted that the 28.5 dynafit boot is the 29 with a shim inside to make it a bit smaller. This doesn't seem right (or match with the dynafit size chart on wildsnow which shows the 28/28.5 having the same BSL). Can someone clear this up for me a bit?

28 and 28.5 is the same.

Your bootfitter is a moran, and you should really consider going somewhere else, if at all possible.

28,28.5 work on the same shell size, not 28.5,29.

You would probably be fine with a 28, just get it heat molded.
