For the sake of argument let's say you had a choice between these and Dynafits ST model (10 din/release value)...

I don't rando or anything; just concerned about your average AK ski tour day. The Dynafit is certainly marketed more at that but I'm trying to see why not to use the RT - elasticity or durability, maybe?

Talked to Mark H the other day and found out he skied these puppies all last spring. Good enough endorsement for me.

Is he in the "real man" size range which I'll arbitrarily say is 5-8+ and 180ish+?

All reviews of these I've seen are from smaller folks (I.e. 150lbs)
