RHCP last night was pretty damn good. Energy from the 'older' guys is impressive. Stoked when they threw in Sir psycho sexy. Chad gave the Pat's a shout out at the end to finish off the show.

Some friends and I drove from NY down to Athens, Georgia last week to see the Drive By Truckers at the 40 Watt Club. Awesome band, cool venue, and fun town!

Tedeschi Trucks coming up Friday, I'm psyched for that. Also we managed to remember in time to buy tickets for the Newport Folk Festival before they completely sold out as they always do, we're going Friday July 28, that's the only day they had left. Don't know who's playing but I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah I could, easy ride, not sure if there's anywhere to dock. You want to come? I don't have a ticket for you but I'm sure they can be found.

one day in, one day boat. I;d say sound depends on wind. As for docking, You'd have to get a slip in Newport. Probably only a million for the weekend. i'm in for 500k, That would be awesome. Our wives can be all grown up and we can be ourselves

Saw Graham Nash Saturday night. Just him and Shane Fontayne. I knew a little bit of his solo work (mainly some of the 'Songs for Beginners' songs), but just thought of him as that high voiced English guy in from CSN. Holy shit was I impressed. He's 75. Sounded amazing. And Shane Fontayne is brilliant. If you get a chance, it's well worth it.

^ whatja think? was about 20 deep in front of bono atomic bomb tour. easily the best arena concert I've been to; but I am from the 80s. Looking at setlist, Redhill, homecoming, God's country, one tree, sooo much I'd love to see.

It was the full on rock star show. Sounded strong, we got there early and were super-close to the "B" stage where they played half the set, and the visuals were fantastic, too. Go see this tour if you can.
