Don't forget Telluride Bluegrass is streaming on koto.org .
Palasade was amazing btw. Lush camping, awesome staff and grounds, great town, and pretty much all you need with amazing music and a super super relaxed cool scene. On my calendar from here on out.
Really kid/family friendly too for those folks who would ignore it because it is a (not your throw-down) festival. Is it radix panax notoginseng? - splat

Just returned from Firefly. It was long and dusty...I'm very tired. Although I'm not a fan of the type of music, GirlTalk and Cash Cash were a lot of fun. Not that I expected much, but 3d Eye Blind was HORRIBLE.
Not sure I'd go again, but was totally worth it for a one time deal.It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

i'm still 'high' from that Beck show at MassMoCA, do not hesitate to catch him on this tour.
show was pure fire, opened with Devil's Haircut, Black Tambourine! killer versions of Paper Tiger and Golden Age, (8 bit remix)Hell Yes, Debra with the train going by! sound was great, loud and clean.
6,000 people in the courtyard on a Tuesday! great crowd.crab in my shoe mouth

I was there all 3 nights. Great shows. The boys never disappoint. I've never seen them play a mediocre show. They always bring the heat. Friday was probably the best of 3 nights, with Sunday close behind and Saturday last but still an incredible show. The whole second set Friday was heat, with a 3 song talking heads encore. Life during wartime was incredible b

Hot Buttered Rum free at Snowmass tonight. Think I'll take the moto for a spin out there.
Edit: Stellar evening, and just a great show with smiles all around from every age group.
There is so much good music in the high-country in the summer it amazes me. Last night, free John Cowan, tonight, 3 free shows from celtic or dance in the Vail zone, free concert series in Minturn, Aspen/Snowmass, you name it.
Tomorrow, NYSymp opens with a Beethoven heavy residency with absolute legends. It just keeps going.
I'm taking the moto up to Targhee BG. Is anyone going to be around? I'll be camped next to the bike.
Also, my annual: stop by my pickup camper @ Dicks invitation applies for the wooks.
Bunch of shows to catch before that though, along with floats, fishing, rides, etc.Last edited by MakersTeleMark; 07-18-2014 at 12:03 AM.

Die Antwoord, my ears rang for 3 days. It was really fun.
I pinched Ninja's nipples and put my finger in his belly button.

DSO Friday and Saturday at the first year of the Jeezum Crow Festival at Jay Peak VT.
Such an excellent band. Great crew of friends from college that saw lots of dead shows together. Very kind venue, easy going "security" and a great vibe.

Conor Oberst last night at the Kaufleuten. Great show. Dawes opened and was the band playing with Oberst. Dawes sucky on their own but good when they don't sing and are tight playing Oberst's and Bright Eyes tunes.
