I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy a new TV soon. My wife is about to punch a hole it the one we have, she's so pissed with the turn of this show. The tone is so dark and unpleasant without any redeeming value. Our "heroes" have turned into a bunch of whipped down dogs. Frankly, I'm ready for the whole lot of them to get killed off. Interesting that the writers chose this point to confirm the truth about Judith's father that we knew all along.

This season is definitely darker... so much so my wife has abandon it completely.
I'm still "in", but either Rick and crew need to man up or get killed off. This weak, lame-ass beaten down dog storyline is just boring to me. Something's gotta give, or I'll be out soon, too.

So... Eugene has to make a 50 caliber bullet (from a Desert Eagle casing), to fit a 9mm (possibly .45?) Beretta?? I'm sure they'll just ignore that minor plot hole assuming 99% of the viewers cant identify a handgun or what caliber it is.. despite how iconic the Desert Eagle is. good lord this show is starting to suck

The Walking Dead on AMC
Yup. Pretty boring. Neagan's schtick is getting really tired annoying too. The way he ALWAYS talks is really turning me away from the show as well. Its like telling an unfunny joke for the 3rd time, still hoping you'll at least get a chuckle.

Seems like destroying the weapons inventory would have been job #1 upon returning to Alexandria. And maybe burying a few guns and a bazooka but hey that is just me being practical.

Hopefully, Rick will kill Coral for being a dumbshit. He loves Judith more.

I think they have all recognized Negan has a weakness. They are setting it up that Women will be his downfall. I am probably stating the obvious since it was probably in the novels already, but I haven't read them.

Why did the Saviors leave all that dynamite rigged up on the highway? Over confident blunder.

My guess is to blow the shit out of a hoard and slow them down all the while having it as a warning to their camp that one large enough to trigger it is on the way

seemed silly since it would only take out the first part of the hoard, while attracting other walkers from miles away. On the other hand, the clothesline scene w/Rick & Michonne was downright fantastic.

I just am not sure what to think. Sounds like, from the comics, Negan isn't going anywhere. I guess the trash-people double cross was inevitable, but I still don't understand why they'd collect all of those guns only to give them away. Why couldn't Sasha attack Negan alive? Why can't anybody hit a their target from point blank range? Why all the timeline changes and reveals?
I actually liked most of the build-up of the second half of this season. It made sense. And, I knew they weren't going to kill Negan and defeat the saviors, but fuck, that finale was terrible.
Edit: I do know what to think. They're phoning it in. Anybody see the plane fly into view earlier in the season? It just sucks, cause there was potential.Last edited by bagtagley; 04-21-2017 at 08:00 AM.
