    Amazing. Thoroughly impressed.

Funny, Hulu is only showing the pilot. I guess they would rather people torrent it. Amazes me how resistant to change executives in the music / video industry are.

    "Pilot" - 1.5 hrs, or 30 mins?

2nd episode won't air until tomorrow (sunday) night, so far only one out there.

Yeah that's it, that's the only one that has aired so far. Next one tmrw.

Supposedly that pilot was broken into 3 parts, first without commercials, but honestly I couldn't tell. Seems all as one to me.

Second episode was great. Very Dawn of the Dead (original) but exciting as all hell.

Yeah, I am anticipating Sunday's show for sure...I was kind of surprised they already have him finding his wife and kid (at least from the preview).

Perhaps that is because they only have 6 episodes for sure that are set, but I see this going a lot longer.

Such a good show. I don't normally watch horror flicks, but this has me gripped. So scary. So dramatic.

the only way i can see that movie being good is if they shoot it with the perspective of the documentary crew with flashbacks. i hope they don't do it as the actual war

    Dude. Click on the link.

Ten years after the human victory over the world wide Zombie epidemic, referred to as World War Z, Max Brooks scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived the conflict that almost eradicated humanity.

yea i have read it, but i can see them doing something stupid and modifying it to be more actiony. i mean they made a move out of fast food nation

granted its been a while but i don't recall any one character being that important to bring in a huge name like Brad pitt.

I loved last night's episode... a couple of those scenes were really hard to watch.

The awkwardness between the wife and Rick coming "back from the dead" was great acting, or should I say the awkwardness between his friend and the wife after banging her in the woods .

Either way, the show has a realism to it that I love (as much as can be due to the Zombies and all). Also, finding the hillbilly gone with just his hand left by the handcuff was great.

is there some reason you can't cut through handcuffs with a hacksaw?
Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid.

I wonder if they were trying to say he was in a hurry, or that he was just out of his mind (due to sun and lack of water) and wasn't able to think straight...they foreshadowed that twice in the show I think.

No, they should have left him with a Ralston knife, not a hacksaw.

He never got to the hacksaw, and chewed his arm off is how I saw it.

    nah, the hacksaw was bloody.

it didn't look like the greatest condition saw so maybe he went for his hand thinking the blade would last better.

He must have teeth like a beaver, because that was a pretty clean cut on his hand (that they showed, at least).

I have only seen the screeners but I could have sworn they said something along the lines of "the hacksaw must not have been sharp enough to cut through the handcuffs."

good tv show, though wished i hadn't read the comics as i'd enjoy it much more.
not liking how much this is veering from the source material (lots of added characters, ect) . making me think they will puss out in the future episodes.

How can there be onlly three episodes left!?!? It just started!

Handcuffs tend to be made of high quality tempered steel, I would think; that rusty old length of all-thread holding the ducting bracket, that the cuff was attached to , however...
