An Idiot Abroad
Not as travel-informative as Lonely Planet(or whatever its called now), but still very entertaining.
Gotta love Karl, that "round, empty-headed, chimp-like moron".

I've only seen one of these. Very funny, but I suspect that it's been quite heavily scripted.

Bump for the new series. Anyone else watching it? Karl is comedy gold.

Love this show, wish it was on Netflix.
All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

The Ricky Gervais show where they do the cartoon excerpts from the radio show with Karl that inspired Idiot abroad are really funny. Check out "The Leg Rubber" it is on HBO. Maybe ondemand if you have Comcast

I think the thing that makes the show funny is that Karl (the idiot, I assume) is a can short of a sixer and you can tell when he goes on and on ranting about what he is doing and how nobody could possibly enjoy stuff. He just rambles like a nutter. Just listening to him talk is the funny part I think.

Agree with the above. Some of the situations they create for him are a pissah. One of my faves was his tour in India. I would prolly have to agree with 80% of his reactions.
Silent....but shredly.
