    Long Way Round

Good show on Bravo that follows Ewan McGregor (sp?) and a buddy as they circumnavigate the world on motorcycles. As of the last show, they are in the middle of Mongolia and quickly recognizing the fact that they might have bitten off more than they can chew.

Very dry, funny British and Scottish humor.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

Bravo advertised the shit out of this show and I had no interest whatsoever.

Then I was forced to watch an episode when I was sick, couldn't sleep, and nothing else was on.

Now I'm hooked. Quality show. Highly recommended.

Just rented the series and killed it last week. Pretty amazing stuff. This is the kinda of stuff motorcycles were made for, enjoying the countryside, literally feeling and interacting with the culture. It's funny, despite the harsh conditions and desolation of far eastern Europe, the real danger didn't show itself until they got around the crazies in North America. This movie has really motivated me to get back out on a bike...far away from cars and drivers preferrably.

Not only is it a great view of far away people and places, but its funny and does a great job of highlighting the highs and lows (physically and emotionally) that the guys experience.

PS, Mongolia has just been added to my list of must-go places.

Loved it, me and my triumph adventurer were so jealous. But my daughter thought Ewan's friend was kind of creepy looking and I have to agree.

Also watched Alone inthe Wilderness over the same weekend, that guy is hard (Richard Proelke?)
