Well, you should consider watching again. It's glorious. I don't get how you could tune into a day like today (rain, wind, cobbles) and not think it's just fantastic. And then there's the mountain stages...if nothing else, the scenery is magnificent.

Over the years there have been a few times that the Tour has had some days stages outside France. Spain, Holland , Switzerland, Italy and Belgium, however first in 74, then 94 and a few of the more recent Tours like in 2007, and now 2014 had UK stage(s) (4 total).
