This company used to produce really high end stuff. That's when I got in and they have warrantied my breakages with these 2 rods.

You don't need a warranty or be the OG owner to warranty these rods. 60 bucks will get you a new rod if they have any in stock at the time.

The 9ft 5wt is a great smaller stream dry rod or small nymph rod, like real small. This is a nice light weight rod that has pretty high end performance. Just don't expect to turn something over in a stiff MT/WY wind. This performs like a medium fast action 4-5wt in my opinion.

The 6wt is really nice actually, sorry to see it go. I used it 10 days in NZ and caught some really nice sizable trout on small to medium streamers and nymphs. This is a good nymphing rod that is light weight and can probably be overlined slightly, may be. Medium fast again and is a light 6wt in my opinion.


Powell isn't a sage or winston but its doesn't sell for that either. Selling cause I have multiple 5wt and 6wt options and the NZ debt is bigger than I could have imagined in my most wildest dreams.
