Hey gang. Payment was send last week and I just received this email from Intuition/Crystal:

    Here’s the situation.

We’re back ordered on the following liners.

MV LUXURY SIZE 10 x 5 (coming via airfreight asap)
    PW SIZE 8 x 6 & 10 x 16 (size 8 ocean freight & size 10 coming via airfreight asap)
    PRO-TOUR SIZE 9 x 5 & 10 x 9 (size 9 ocean freight & size 10 coming via airfreight asap)
    --------------------------------
    TOTAL 41 pairs

30 of the 41 pairs will arrive in the next week or two.

The ocean freight liners will arrive early/mid-December.

So, it sounds like these will be comming to me in waves based on what they have in stock. I will let you know when I receive the liners in Seattle. Expect 1-2 days from when I receive them to when they will go out to you.

To clarify - we ordered 72 liners. 41 are on backorder....with 30 of those 41 arriving to Intuition in the next few weeks.

For those of you that are new to group buys, please understand that these things take time.

    Cheers,
    B

Thanks. Glad I went with the 11 PW instead of a 10. Now I just need some snow!

You would think that this time of year they would have stocks of all liners. Thanks for the update.

Aisle donkey is the term you were looking for.

Maybe I missed it earlier, but when can we expect to see the liners that are not back ordered?

^^^ good timing. Received the tracking info and they are due to arrive in Seattle Friday. I will do my best to get everything out by Tues at the latest.

Also an update on the backorder, the "air freight" liners are due to intuition by Nov. 30th and the "ocean freigt" are due in early Dec.

Some liner model/sized will arrive this week and the remaining order will be filled by the ocean and air shipments. The only fair way I can determine who gets their liners first is by the initial sign-up list. I will be filling orders from the top down off the list.

Update: received 4 boxes of liners on Friday and was able to get a few pairs out on Friday. Two more shipments will go out tomorrow and Tuesday.

Bonus - we received a few pairs of the PW 9's, that were on backorder.

I noticed that intuition is now using a different inner material on the PowerWraps than the pair I have from a few years ago. My guess is that will do a better job of transfering heat away from your foot for heat regulation. I often found my feet overheating in the old liners which sometimes lead to blisters.

Anyway...keep an eye out if you have liners that are not on b/o.

    Cheers.

Got my liners today. Thanks foreal for all your work. I don't think I sent you enough beer money though because this must have taken up a lot of your time. Much appreciated.

My powerwarp plugs came in and look to take well in the ol shamans.

Thanks for all the work foreal!

Edit: skied em today and the powerwrap plugs were just what my garmont shamans needed. Much better than I anticipated. Molded sans 5 year old custom surefeet foot beds and they were money. Was debating whether or not I wanted to mold with or without the custom footbeds and for now I don't see a need. First intuition experience a great one.

Mine came in to!! Jongtastic. Thanks foreal!!

klauss, I'm also putting in a set a pwrap plugs in my Shamans---I just finished a luxury tongued liner in that boot also without footbeds. I just couldn't get the footbeds in there but I am very happy with the shape on the footbed of the luxury's w/o the footbeds and actually prefer the "lower in the boot" feel I'm getting. So I'll do the same w the plugs. Glad to hear it worked well on the plug. Btw, the luxury's soften that boot some, and I expect the plugs will send it a notch higher than stock.

Curious to know what your motivation was to go with the Powerwraps since you had the Luxurys. Main reason to stiffen them up? If so I'm surprised as I ski Shamans too and they definitely don't need to be any beefier. Debating myself on Luxuries.

I'm hoping I can get two boots in one w the Shaman. I've tried to get the Adrenalines and Endorphins to be a one boot quiver but I found them too soft. A couple of years ago I put the Dalbello Gold liner in them and it stiffened them up...just not enough. So I got the idea that maybe I can hit it from the other direction and defang the Shaman enough with the luxury liner to do some light touring as well as use them to drive a pair of GS skis once in a while (plus I just couldn't get some ankle issues sorted with that stock Shaman liner).

I molded up the luxury liners a few wks ago, and if the Shaman is a true 120-ish flex in stock form I would say the luxury dropped it to 100-110-ish. I'm hoping the plug p-wrap will send it to a true 130. I only skied the stock liners at the end of last year, so I have no snow time yet on the lux/Shaman combo but I'll be happy to send you some feedback. I'm also gonna try skinning in the lux liners to see if I can make that work for some short hikes ...and if it works... bye-bye Adrenalines and Endorphins.

The Powerwrap plug liner maybe feels a touch stiffer in the flex department versus the stock liner on the Garmont Shaman. Powerwap Plug goes a bit higher out of the boot up the leg as well. Personally, the boots were stiff enough out of the box. I just had a problem with the stock liners with foot fatigue and pain because I needed more volume. The plug liner definitely has helped there after two days in em. I am not using the spoilers that came on the stock liner now as well. It was 6 F at the mountain today and no problems with warmth either
