All that buildup near the end....that was a bit of a letdown.

Great show. I really liked Lumen as a character this year but last night I felt like she turned into rita. I dont think she will make it past this season. Dead? goes back to Minnesota?

I'm curious how the writers are going to be able to get out of all this shit in 45 mins...is there definitely a sixth season?

^^^ you really missed out then.

This season started slow, but the last few episodes have been all time.

After the intensity of the last few episodes that was a letdown.

It reminded me of the season 3 ender. Sloppy work by Dexter made for a far too tidy ending. They could have stretched that out to a couple episodes making it far cleaner and prolonging the suspense.

I didn't figure they'd be able to hang on to Julia Styles, but I gotta admit, I was bummed when she bailed. Quinn isn't going away, that's for sure. I can see them using him as a catalyst for a final showdown before the show calls it quits.

I thought dexter's sister might have known that it was dexter behind the plastic, when she made that comment at the end of the show. Anyone else think that?

Lumen sucked and brought the show down. She made Dexter act dumb. She acts as well as a cement block.

Oh, and this is the truth. I hated season 5. Sorry for the DP.

well, seems season 6 should be the last season. it just isn't firing on all cylinders anymore. after such an epic season of breaking bad, it's hard to come down to this.

Season 6 was a let down, but the ending was a good setup for season 7.

So far, no too bad. I've gotten over his complete disregard for the "code", which has made it easier to watch. This new chick he's getting involved with is pretty cute, and it looks like she might have some crazy in her. I'm sure the showdown with the Russian mobster will be underwhelming, but the anticipation builds some interest.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I was a little disappointed he didn't slide that guy into the crematorium furnace alive. Blondie definitely has major crazy in her, probably full psycho crazy. The mobster thing is a bit contrived, hopefully it turns out decent. I'm having a hard time seeing how the side plot with LaGuerta and the blood slide becomes worthwhile.

Too many storylines sort of killed last season. They're definitely at risk of doing the same this season.

I can't help but think this show has officially jumped the shark.

That being said, I can't quit watching.

same for me. maybe it's the super hot new girlfriend. or the gladiator guy as the bad guy. both are good characters. but i think with deb knowing it adds a new dimension to the moral dilemma. seems like it's heading in an obvious direction though.

    x3

It will be interesting to see how Deb confessing to being in love with Dexter plays out. Hanna won't survive the season. Fingers crossed that LaGuerta dies a fiery horrible death.

Like you said, still feels shark-jumpy.

That being said, DAMN. Deb murdering LaGuerta. about time that bitch bought it.

Blondie is bound to come after Deb. Or Dex. Or both.

next season i think they all annihilate each other. hannah goes after deb, dex intervenes, they all die, harrison is left in a pool of blood by himself. no happy ending after all this messiness.

The whole Hannah thing never did it for me, I hope we never see her again but suspect we will. I was hoping LaGuerta would somehow die on her own like Doakes did. Deb was fucked up enough just knowing who Dexter was, I suspect she spirals downhill fast next season. I've always kind of wanted to see Dexter get caught, take the stand and be completely unapologetic about all the pure scum he has removed from the planet, and have the jury acquit him.
