AK was incredible...skied Alyeska a couple of times, and did some hiking around Anchorage and up on Turnagain Pass. I have a couple of friends who live in Anchorage who were supposed to hook me up with snowmobiles, but that fell thru. Lots of good beer and of course the Great Alaskan Bush Co!
Next time I go I'll probably rent some sleds and do some sledneck skiing.

Over from KZone. I'm merely here to antagonize Highway Star.

Guess I never checked in either... Truckee local with a passion for cat skiing. Did volunteer patrol work for 15 years but now just trying to squeeze in a few days ripping around Tahoe with the gang. Things sure changed after having three kids in the last six years!

Another long-time lurker. This forum helps me forget I'm locked in hell each day from 8-???.
I probably won't contribute much, but really just want to applaud what others contribute.

Finally getting on board to join this great community and forum as well. Been lurking occasionally and known about it for a while through my sis, the awesome Spark. Have also met LeeLau and GoNads, so perhaps those connections reduce my JONG status a little. Of course, I'll still keep a collection of naked pics close at hand just in case.
Grew up in Toronto, moved to SoCal for grad school, and then up north to Davis, CA, where I've been the past few years. On skiis since 3 or 4, but lacked chances to experience the lovely freshie gooodness until moving here, since skiing was mainly limited to the hills of Collingwood, and occasional trips to AB, BC, PQ, VT, and NY. Now I head up to Tahoe and mostly Bear Valley whenever I get the chance (but not nearly often enough). Bear Valley 'cause lodging is free at my friend's cabin, she knows where the goods are in and out of bounds, and I like the less crowded "old school" retro vibe of the mountain compared to the Tahoe gongshow, not to mention the cheaper cost.
Right now I'm totally psyched for our upcoming trip to Bariloche the 1st week of Sep, especially after the lousy season in the Sierra this year, and since it seems to be dumping there now.

Hey Loser....I'm not awesome and get out of my turf. Stop living vicariously through me.
Maybe we'll let you stay, but I'll always have MANY more pow / ski days then you and will call you to brag about it like a very good little sister. The competition is on....you had a crap year in Tahoe while WB was just epic. We'll see who lucks out next year punk.Last edited by Spark; 06-13-2007 at 10:35 PM.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.
if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch
