I heard T-ride and Ridgway should be peak around 10/2.
My next door neighbors went up to RMNP this morning and said next weekend will be the best up there (for aspens).
I'm hoping to get down to either the CB area, Aspen, or around Ridgway to shoot around Sneffels the first weekend in October if anyone's interested in meeting up.
EDIT to add: Here's a link where you can find up-to-date conditions on just about all the key places. Kind of like TGR when storms hit.

Heard there were thousands of cars on Kenosha..
Close to peak in CB, but I'd guess it's a bit behind on the other side of Kebler.
The weather couldn't be any more perfect, that's for sure. A few other photos on my blog.

roaring fork
I was at Ashcroft and the lake below Maroon Bells Sunday. At 9500' I would say color was peaking and a few places higher up the leaves had been stripped off by wind etc but from 8000 to 9500 color was still progressing.
I know "this thread is useless without pictures"!
I think yesterday was the last weekend for the RFTA buses running up to Maroon Lake.

They're changing fast. I'd say this week will be the peak in the Front Range. The reds and oranges are spectacular this year. Maybe due to the dry warm days and cool nights?
Get out there now. One big wind event and they'll be gone.

Just did a tour around the state. Creede/Slumgullon just around peak. CB by this weekend. Vail is peaking this weekend too. Kebler west side about there, McClure as well. Don't know about the North part of the state.

Heading to CB this weekend for a 1/2 marathon. Hoping to see some colors while suffering on the run.
Friend did the drive over Indy Pass from Aspen and said it's looking awesome out there.

^^ Agree with MTM, leaves will probably peak in Vail this week. They seem to be changing fast, but then again I pay much more attention to snow than pretty leaves
Gonna be a great weekend to be outside. Gratzo, your bringing the amazing sunny dry weather like last weekend?

Went up to Indian Peaks yesterday, and it was beautiful. Aspens were yellow and much of the brush above the aspens were all sorts of orange and red. My guess is this weekend will be prime for Indian Peaks area.

Red Mountain Pass this last Saturday morning. Colors were a little late this year but they really started popping down there at the end of last week.

telluride was pretty golden this weekend, but then again my vison was blurry from all the free beer.

Yea,
that about sums it up.
Went backpacking into the Lost Creek Wilderness.
Proposed to my GF while overlooking this valley where we camped. She said yes...
Sunny 65-70 degrees, a warm breeze (light at 11K) electric yellows and mellow golds as far as the eye could see.
not another soul in sight.
It was perfect.
Kenosha pass was a total shitshow coming home...kinda ridiculous.
I am headed to Aspen this weekend to run the Golden Leaf Classic. Should be peaking. Anyone who wants to meet for a beer message me.
Indy Pass on Sunday

colors in Vail are great but don't seem to be as crazy as the last couple of years. The Stone Creek drainage is nice but still has lots of trees lagging thus not the crazy blast.

We will be camping in Lost Creek area, or maybe Holy Cross area on Saturday night...
I will take pics. I have lots of pics from the last two weekends off of Kenosha Pass and Twin Cone, but I am lazy and they are still sitting on my cameraYou should have been here yesterday!

Congratulations are due. (Golf Clap)
No pics, but the San Juan Skyway (durango, silverton, ouray, telluride) is lighting up; still plenty of aspens to turn, peaking next week.
I also saw plenty of the most beautiful fall color of all today: WHITE. About an inch from the top of Molas pass (10,900) on up. Sure made all the leaves that much prettier...
