Plattekill was so fun today.... I only got up in the mid 40s on the corn but it was fast enough to lose my painters cap a few times. Best pasrt was watching my gf start to become a more confident skier on blues and such. Also, getting a tan and drinking ina t-shirt were close seconds.
Huge thanks to plattekill for hosting a sick day of free skiing on premiere nys organic corn. Ill hold off on the big brand stuff yet!j'ai des grands instants de lucididididididididi

Yeah Strawjack. Sweet day indeed - you hook us with the pickup, the ride, the free voucher ticket and the tour! Like the edit - the new toy shall be put to good use. Lose the watermark. Hahaha! Humble pie today especially when I think about the fact that your boys ripped those lines and your youngest is 12! Awesome stuff. Great spring day.

My favorite part was the knuckleheads climbing directly below the skiers. No comment on skiers choice of descent because I haven't read the avy report today and even if I had I wasn't there! Although if you take some people's silly viewpoint (tuckermaster from T4T) it is clearly Rog's fault for all his internet posting! Hahaha! Let the shitshow in Tuck's begin. Good news it looks like everyone is OK? http://www.mountwashingtonavalanchec...eekend-update/ Careful up there boys n girls!
Edit: Wish I had read that first. Shitshow says it all! Wow. Folks let's pay attention when the mountain talks. The Passion is in the Risk

According to the ranger report, there were three avalanches in Tuck's yesterday. The first two were set off or witnessed by the same group that set off the third.
Must be the Super Moon.
Sweet lune skiing last night. After another amazing spring day, there is snow in the forecast all next week.Last edited by atkinsonvt; 03-20-2011 at 06:25 AM.

just got back from the Chic Chocs, was absolutely amazing. Weather was great, snow was soft, and very few people. The trip was sponsored by Clarkson University Outing Club...what an awesome time. More pics to come.

nice on the chocs! planning on something there this year
Got out with ISBD today and dogs. West facing low elevation stuff corned very nicely, HIgher up was straight coral reef. So we head for lower elevation, but not low angle
not many pics but was not expecting it to be so good.
Awesome sunny vt day to be out.
