But the parking lot on Stateside is huge now. They expanded it over the summer (and expanded it the summer before as well). Don't ask me if it will be big enough, though...

^^^ so instead of the masses being funneled to Metro/High Speed Freezer/Tram uphill capacity everyone gets funned to the Red Chair... and Blue. I can see this getting extremely ugly on certain days. Gory like. Yikes. Guess you rock the Chalet Meadows T bar to beat the masses to Tram Side.... rock an espresso in a short Tram line and weigh the relativity of your problems.

I'll quite possibly be up there with my folks. Happy to break away for some laps of the sickness that is (is it? I've never actually skied there)..
White lid, red top, black pants, probably gotamas.

Also, does anyone (Rog?) know how the Rivah has been skiing? We're thinking about heading over that way sometime in a few days or so..

Parking at Jay: There are shuttles from the new parking garage to the tram base, or you can walk the 200-ish yards. There are also shuttles from Stateside to Tramside. The new Stateside lot is gargantuan.

Flyer and Metro opening tomorrow. Tram Monday. Bonnie probably next week.

just in case anyone missed it D, well said.

always get a kick out of the long line whiners, no one will stop you from walking up the hill at any given time

-4F this morning, first time without wind and you could see stars in a week, you know, this place ain't half bad.

Apologies for a less than mediocre photo from this morning, but the last you could see this it was mostly brown with 2 strips of snow on stateside

Brewski, did you eat in the restaurant or the bar? I was working last night in the restaurant and there were only about 4 customers the whole night. I took home the roasted 1/2 chicken in lemon compote with herbs, potatoes and gravy. REDONKEY DONK.

Heading out with my roommate to take a single run off the flyer, probably in for some misery. If there is any wind at the base I will strongly question even stepping onto the lift.

I was at the resaurant with my wife, newborn and inlaws. We were the only ones there, I couldn't believe it. The food there is off the chain! You're lucky to work there. We should make some turns sometime.

Bacon platter is dope. Stop serving it at 3:00 this year. That cut off going to routinely force an early apres start. Continue to hear great things about that restaurant but only have done bar side. Likely the better set up this year table-wise in the bar and Switchback to tap line up also a welcome addition.
