This shirt in Black. My cost after printing & shipping is about $22.50 ea. They sell on the Patagonia site for $45. I'm thinking $40/each so $17.50/each profit X 115 shirts roughly 2K to help me pay for these shares.

I work better digging out of holes. Snow Wizards is going to help me sell them too. If it goes well i'll get another round.

Anyone planning on being at Jay on Friday? Woodcorps and I will be there. Look for the patroller skiing with the lady in a yellow Arc'Teryx jacket. Psyched, I got a new pair of boots and looking forward to giving them a test run.

Aah, I see. I've head that snowboarding is easier on the knees, but I have exactly zero fact to back it up. I have a hard time believing that Nihiles will be taking it easy on pow days... Unless he's got his camera with him.

thanks for the input guys. looks like ill stick to the board for a while, mainly because i can be chill and carve on a board for way longer than i can on skis. i dont really feel like i missed last season. i DID however miss street season so my biggest fear is that im not going to be able to take it too easy on skis cause all the built up session from the summer will just explode out of me. gotta let the pressure out slowly.

where to be in SOVT tomorrow? anyone? thinking slowkemo...

not going to lie... i'd rather skin and ski a few inches of pow on grass than what Stowe is charging for today...

hopefully they resurface and it gets better soon... but the current product on the hill is rolling whales of death ice.

they ARE blowing on centerline and sunrise, and those are slated for opening later this week... and they also promise to blow on Liftline soon.... but currently I'd say hold off. The rain yesterday did not do a good thing to the mtns of manmade snow they put on "the run" combo of lord/northslope...

Celebrating minis first time up the snowdon poma, seriously I've NEVER seen the kid more stoked then he was today, he's been eying that thing since he started skiing 4 years ago. Full on two hands raised claiming it. I had the helmet cam rolling I hope like hell I got it on film
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

I should be skiing Friday. Bright blue jacket, white helmet, black Gotamas w/ pink and green graphic.

Moved into my new digs yesterday, the place is fresh. Fireplace, huge south facing deck, 3 miles from the lot. Anyone know where I can get locally raised bacon and grass fed steak in the Jay area?

One lift, two trails, I'm betting we see each other! LOL Speak up if you spot us first.

It's been many moons since Woodcorps lived in the Jay area, but he says his first thought on the bacon and beef is Brault's Market in Troy. Butcher, makers of jerky, smokehouse, etc. If they can't help, they can probably point you in the right direction.

Congrats on finding a place near the mountain! Sounds perfect. I can't remember, is this a ski house, or are you living there full time?

Braults is the way to go. If you have freezer space just get a side of pork or beef. They're a slaughterhouse, so they buy beef from all over the region- it's all grass fed, but some is grain finished. Their bacon is perfect- I buy a side of pork from them every year and for a while I smoked my own bacon, but I could never do it as well as they could, so now I just let them do it.

If you want to buy right from the farm, try the Boydens in Cambridge for beef....

    welcome to the kingdom arewolfe.

I'll be there fri in the AM - trading ski for skates at 12 - the new rink is fantastic

your best bet for organic beef/pork/etc this time of year will be butterworks farm in westfield, about 5 miles as the crow flies from you

jack is the man! everything from organic beef, RAW milk, fresh yogurt, and just a generally good conversation if you have the time to hang out

    744-6855

newport natural foods (main street)would be another option to grab produce from local farms as most CSA's will be closed already for the winter

sucks for snow, but its been about as good as it gets for getting the rink at the house going

Woodcorps asks: "Is this Jack Lazor, the guy who used to teach at North Country? Special ed teacher, maybe (can't quite remember what he taught)? Cuz if it is, I used to know him when I was a teacher there and I know exactly where that farm is!"
