So this guy that won those Volkl's and was asking $600 and told me that he'd been "Entertaining offers for them all day"... and let my best offer fly.

My counter was a few vouchers to mount snow + $200, but now they're going up on ebay because mine was "THE ONLY OFFER".

If Skiing, books, movies, and every other way to possibly entertain yourself disapeared overnight I'd be ok if there was still craigslist.
.....I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record

Got out today at the Beast

good solid day, snow was soft and the crowds light so it was perfect to get the Maestro's dialed in. I'll get a review up soon but I was surprised that despite they're scaled down Maven dimensions, the two skis couldn't have been more different
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

It sounds like he does not need it but come back & he skis on me. I have some discounted tickets I purchased in advance.
This has all simmered down now anyway (good!) but thanks and no worries...I was never that butthurt or anything, just had an experience that put a bad taste in my mouth. You and all the others attitude (and all the stoke I see about the place) will probably have me back to check it out again sometime this winter. My brother honestly probably won't be back -- he doesn't get to ski much and he doesn't want to think about it, his attitude is just "fuck it I had a bad time, I'll go somewhere else." But I won't hesitate to bring other friends back sometime, and hopefully stumble on some of the fruits of your labor .

    Special Magic stoke!

My very special lady friend made me a very special birthday present:

Of course my version is a full size poster. She's got some crazy Photoshop skills. Took a picture of me skiing in T-Ride, relocated it to the East with appropriate terrain mods, chopped in some topsheet graphics, posterized and graphicized.

Great attitude Bircheater... The ironic thing is, DoWork will be the first to step up and take you around for a tour and share the goods. (Just make sure you get him on a day when he hasn't been working with spray paint all night)...

I haven't really followed trials in years but this kid kills it! Unreal. Thanks for posting. I assume it must have been posted in Sprockets, but I haven't been over there in awhile, either.

I posted it over in sprocket rockets as well... I have watched it probably 10 times today.

The front flip from back wheel to start to video off is just amazing... the sheer size of some of those moves and how smooth he makes it look is mind boggling.

Here is the video again, embedded this time...

    Magic Passholders

Just putting a feeler out there to see if there would be any interest.

Vermont Snow Wizards would like to offer a special "3 pack" tuning deal. 3 tunes any time throughout the season for $100. The Wizard will be charging $45/tune this year so this could save you some cash & give them some up front capital to start the season.

I easily spend that in there a year so for me it's a no brainer. If any others do the same let me know & lets see what we can come up with.

Sorry for the somewhat spam, just trying to help a great guy out. Not sure on payment/details @ this point

If there is any interest, I can start it's own thread, put it on FB etc. Feedback, ideas, welcome.
