sorry y'all for grating (good word) everyones nerves. it's one thing to play around, and another to dig, and dig, and take things too far, or just be a doosh bag.
realize i should learn to play nice. no better time to start than right now.

Dave, didn't you get the memo? That picture was taken on the same set as the moon landing shots were.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Dude I just chuckled with a mouthful of coffee and choked like a mofo... Thanks for almost killing me this morning

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Dude this morning is just killing it with the laughs, I LOVE this picture. Quintessential Buckethead.
Reminds me of the story when TC though he was dead, face down in a treewell... But he was just taking a nap.

[quote=RolnThunder;2985424]Who really gives a shit where you ski? I thought the point was you got the fuk out of the office/class/home whatever and got after it, no matter how ideal or not conditions were.
My take on it: Appreciate every day you get on snow, no matter how bad, no matter where it is (no location is better than another...they all vary and it depends what you feel like getting off the menu that day). I only get 10 days a season in college...I envy the lot of you.
RT I couldnt agree w/ you more...I would rather ski anywhere anytime than do most things. Some of the worst snow condition trips have been the most memorable b/c of the company. Like you said, Its all up to you the kind of day you want to have. And like GL I've got friends who wont ski unless the conditions are "perfect" and dont understand the need/desire to ski w/o lift service....
Guess it just takes all kinds.

If you can learn to enjoy yourself skiing in shit conditions and/or by yourself... skiing is so much better for you. Plus, there's nothing quite like skiing in shitty conditions to improve your skiing.
Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid.

EDIT: Top of the page...AGAIN.
Another one that KI: theory remade (Although the original here is pretty damn good). What can I say...been listening to them a lot since the release of Re:session.
I must be doing it wrong...
Hoping to at least double it this year. Planning to turn winter break into a minimum of 2 weeks of winter camping and skiing in NH and VT. Could probably get more local days in if I buy a season pass at Lab or Greek.
Can't beat the scenic walk. One of the few images you do want burned into your mind.Last edited by RolnThunder; 09-21-2010 at 05:51 PM.
To those men who are born for mountains, the struggle can never end, until their lives end. To them it holds the very quintessence of living - the fiery core, after the lesser parts have been burned away.

I am still doing a lot of this
Sunset on Monkton pond, excellent top water activity

Great weather to not sweat in

Camel's hump looming in the background, Love the champlain valley, all the high peaks of the greens and daks in full view

Go there on a weekday, give them $25 and appreciate the fact that they make stuff that looks like snow and is slippery. Who cares how big or how good it is or isn't, just get out and do it!
