Anyone else ever done something like that?
I think readers will think your lying and follow them anyway. Good luck. Staff safe. Will likely just be rocking Jay lift served tomorrow. Touring rig staying in Boston.

Natural selection. If your numb enough to head in the wrong direction with no understanding of what your getting into all the best, no note required

Heading to Cannon tomorrow and never been. Always listened to the wrong people and heard them say ice and wind, I wanna believe otherwise because it looks like they have some really fun terrain.

That said, weather is looking windy tomorrow. Wunderground calling for 10/15 mph winds to 40 gusts, while noaa is saying 3-8mph. What's cannon's deal with wind hold? Don't wanna make the drive and lose out...

Also, promise some scenic stokage from my Colorado trip last weekend come Sunday.

Take off your skis, boot in. After about 20 feet, turn around and piss all over your post holes, boot out of sight from there before putting your skis back on. Common practice really.

Jesus Dave, some serious work there. You take you boots off to walk into the woods now the only thing stopping you from disappearing will be your crotch, good luck pissin on yourself

Thanks for caring. The answer is a big fat no! I am feeling very wounded so I can't handle sarcasm today. Please be nice to my fragile physchee. Not sure I am ready to talk about it but I have scheduled therapy for Monday.

The stars were not properly aligned. Tried everything here, in Hook Ups, on craigslist. Nothing.
eug made an outstanding offer but it did not quite work with the homefront.

Hoping to make up for it tomorrow n Sunday. Some touring in NH - little ec chuting gallery projects? Anyone interested?

A few recent pics to share (cross posted on the misery-stick forum, ttips, sorry for repetition).

My special-lady-friend works hospital hours, so sometimes we end up touring at weird times, like Sunday at 4pm…
…and it's amazing. Less than 2 miles from the car and we're alone in the woods

literally not a track seen for many, many acres

rush down, beat the dying light

powder. is there anything better than powder?

And some days, we actually get a whole day to tour, but the snow conspires against our early wake ups….
When you wake up, and find your truck buried under an avalanche, you know the snow will be good

Still took 2 hours to dig out

    but it was worth it

we hit one of my favorite gully lines

Conditions were good for drops! (I think it's the flying pig tails that do it for me)

(note Carter the Dog lining the drop up, he hit it too)

    choke

    reward!

    ski on.

It depends where in Francia you are going.. Up by Switzerland (Chamonix) is a little better. The mags out here claim they haven't had snow in about 3 weeks.

    Xpost for Gearswap:

I've got a pair of 182 BD Zealots I'm trying to unload fast. They'll be at Magic this weekend if anyone is interested. I entertain any reasonable offers if anyone wants some cheap pow skis.

since living in utah, i've taken 2 january trips there for 9 days each and it only snowed 3 days total of the 18. i wasn't riding lifts at all which kept me skiing deep untracked the whole time, but since then i'll never go to utah in jan again. look what happened this jan out there. junk mostly. my april trips to foofy land have been amazing tho with huge dumpage and no crowds due to the fact that alta is closed making it prime for perfect bc skiing close to the road and most of ther skiers have moved onto summer activities.

sorry for the rant, i feel your pain. now i pretty much don't leave the east at all to ski. no need, it's always good here somewhere.

    morning!

I guess it could have been worse. Hey, Im in Italy! I guess things could be worse. It was hard to leave such great conditions to come to this, at least There should be some fresh waiting back home.

You read it correct. There is only so much Pizza, Proscuitto, and Sopressata you can eat. Right now a bacon cheeseburger is lookin real good.
