Is this some kind of riddle? your angered by the complaining, but complaining.

    snow ain't melting anytime soon

Unless it shuts off suddenly looks like we're going over the 1-3, 1-2 tonight range before sunset - snowin harder than it has all day

Today on Cotillon at Castlerock. There's been over a foot since 6am this morning and still dumping hard. The powder flu is vicious this winter, better not go to work and share the germs!

Some most awesome turns were had this morning at Killington. still straight nuking out there too. Big fat flakes now. Earlier was all about the small flake size. Looking at the radar we've still got some time in the party zone too.

I'll be at Magic tomorrow bright and early. Yellow jacket, blue or brown pants, Line Prophet 100s, and black bern helmet with a NS sticker on the left side. I don't bite, so say hi!

I have a patent pending on staying in ski shape - keep up with your kids as long as you can. If you don't have kids, borrow someone else's kids and chase them.

Ping me when you are up at the Bush, would be great to put face to name.

Nice meeting some folks (TC, EW, BD and Weasel) at the mighty bowl today. Thanks for the East side invite - would have loved the run but late to work as it was. Love to see pics if you can slow down long enough to take 'em. Hammering in Midd right now - must be great up there!

I think Warren Miller said there's only one day in your life when you can ski with your kids without you waiting for them or them waiting for you.

Been a few years since I was last up there, but if I make it this year will definitely hit you up.

Will the kids be at Mt. Snow in March for the comp?

Awesome storm. I'll be the first to admit I didn't think it would wrap this much moisture an dynamic lift into norhtern VT. Figured a 6-7 inch snowfall would ensue north of 89 but apparently the weather gods had something else in store.
Down south it's great to see that 12 inch or so prediciton come to fruition. I know you all were hit hard by that thaw and could use more dumpage.

I am young (ish) and no kids--but I have always had a professional job that I cant just always take off. I can sometimes. When I cant on a powder day, yes I complain, but half the time I am kidding slightly. Would never trade the good salary, great benes, vacation and time-off and retirement just cause of a few powder days I may not get off. There are plenty more--there is always tonight, tomorrow..The good thing about my situation is that I am 15 minutes from lift serviced mtn, and I am surrounded by many more.

10+ at Whiteface and still nuking. My sister is Albany said they are pretty much missing this--so the storm definitely took an upswing.
I could go on, and on, and on...but who cares

    Nice pic by the way.

yes...the comma head of the storm def. developed in such a way that Albany was too far NW when the center of low pressure was near Long Island and is currently getted shadowed on the NE flow by the Greens and ADK.

BigAir.. Magic's saying 9am for tomorrow. Bluebird can and probably will confirm.
Not sure what I'll be skiing on tomorrow (tonight is the beta test off some self-rockered Rossi B4s). Black variant brim for sure, white/green puffy jacket likely.

Still snowing lightly in Saratoga. Definitely tapering off but still snowing.

Looks like the storm is starting to break a little along the VT/NH border but everything south of Slutland is still getting hit. Storm looks like it is still churning counter-clockwise with some heavy bands along the NH/ME border, hopefully it comes back west.

I'm REALLY struggling with the decision to drive from NYC up to Magic tomorrow for the day...Heading up to Jay for the long weekend Friday afternoon so that would be a really quick turnaround.....

Any NYC/Westchester/Fairfield Country mags making the trip up? I'd want to leave here ~5am to hit the opening, be off the hill early afternoon. I can drive but my car isn't exactly made for the slightest bit of frozen shit on the roads, hopefully things will be clean then.

I got the word that since I showed up at work today I can have tomorrow off, so I'll be headed to Wildcat early in the AM. Love to pick up a partner or two if anyone else will be around, give me a shout!

    And while I'm here...

Total daytime snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.

Bowl was off the hook today. Really, not sure we have any right to this much....nevermind, of course we do.

Big Daddy and Bottleman in attendance, among others. Pics to come...

Could only skip out over lunch for some quick urban turns in Portland with a friend.

Snow was blower, knee to thigh deep in spots, and so much fun. Just two of us lapping the "gnar" for over an hour.

Wish there were some more steeps round here.

Slayed. Snow was really, really nice.

Came down on one run hooting and hucked the little wall at the bottom to the sidewalk. Guy who was walking by stopped to watch, just shook his head, and kept walking.

It is going to be good. 12-15". More probably fell but it is starting to compact, which is a good thing.

Oh man... this is eff'n awesome. Just spent an hour+ shoveling in Boston thinking this type of accumulation is EXACTLY what Jay needs. Working tomorrow but will be at Jay Fri-Monday. Pretty stoked right now. Have fun at Magic tomorrow for those getting after it. If you see a dude in a black patacuggi coat and Atomic Snoops (older gen red ones) do some laps with him. My buddy Chris hitt'n Magic solo tomorrow.
