great pics, glad you liked them, how could you not, they rule the deep

I am guessing you are back east now?

    Edit:
MIL it is Rog. Top is fairly steep, but its the length of the run that is great for GG.

Yep, and actually kind of excited to ski here again (at least until it rains here and dumps 2 feet in UT). Hanging on to the Praxis; I know we'll have a chance to use them this winter.

Sorry about that last post. Great day to be outside with the family. Few pictures from the Flume. My wife was wondering why I wanted her to stand next to the sign.....

Not ski stoke, but some pictures from my ride today. Riding solo, so no action shots. Not bad for Jersey...

I had to turn around at this point

i saw flakes flutter this weekend on Manny. No accumulations. I've had dandruff fall more significantly

foliage was INSANE though... really really insane.

Do you need a place to crash near the mountain? I'm hooking up with at least 3 other dudes (eww) on a place that's 0.9 miles from the parking lot. Weekend warriors, storm riders, and full timers all welcome (different rates depending on the amount of time you're living there) - November 1 - April 30.

Thanks for the offer (Sounds awesome except for the 3 dudes) but I've got a family place at Burke so I'll be crashing there and driving up most of the time. I'll be looking to meet up on the hill so I'm not skiing trees all by my lonesome. I'm the only one in my current group of ski buddies that can ski weekdays.

last spring a bunch of us were talking about skiing Burke early season, including IIRC Arewolfe, VT-Freeheel, Bumpskier...

Any of you guys still down for an early season meetup over there?

Not quite Ringwood. I typically call this ride "Skyline Drive" for the obvious start/end location...

ML - Might be up for that depending on cost of lift ticket. What about an early season meet during the first snow? Pros: free, no crowds. Cons: short notice.

I have to buy my Jay pass this week and I just bought a pair of skis off Tramdock 5 minutes ago, completely out of the blue. Bank account is hurtin and now I need to sell some skis... sucks.

    Regarding burke

There will be 2 nor'easters in Dec - so early skiing should be great, that being said, do yourselves a favor and wait until you see them open Doug's Drop, once you can dodge the ledges on doug's everything is skiable

to go and do beer laps on the dippers is fun - but you might as well save the drive for a good day - if 4 of you go that would make 10 happy people skiing mid week powder.
