Lil something to add to the stoke. This was last weekend up at Jay. Coverage was good and the snow was great until the rain came. I took a core shot at some point but well worth it. Had to duck off the triple to find it.

Heading up to Hunter today. Red Jacket, black pants, blue hat, black pack, prob black goggles. Feel free to say hi.

Took a little walk up high with the wife, new dog and son. 2-3ft of depth and the snow has preserved excellently, was still light and fluffy with a consolidated base and some glistening hoar. This is our favorite spot, might be the same area as you davevt I am thinking. Nice being 15 min from home.
all I need is a hall pass

2 days in and Bo our new plott hound is awesome off leash at 7 months old, not to mention a sporty paint job

Kind of a long shot favor to ask, but if anyone is going from the Boston area to the Okemo area tomorrow drop Reganized of myself a PM. A friend left some car keys in a car that is in Boston and she's stranded up at Okemo until they get there. Worth a shot.

Nice job with the photos ILOVE2SKI, way to get after it.
I will be going back to a 4-5 day work week after the new year and will be able to get out more. 1 full day off this month has meant a lack of turns.
BigDaddy Sorry not to have made it to Granville for the game, did watch it though, a nailbiter for sure.
Saw Thin Cover , not the big guy, but the new Bush trail count TC. The former Murphys Glade now Murphys Grass.

Vibes to the friends and family of the dead snowboarder at Cannon. Still thin in many places , be careful.www.apriliaforum.com

Nice shots love2ski! There's some great lighting and angles going on there!
What a fun weekend... opening day at Magic was a blast. Great to get out on red chair again and to meet some new mags.

We went and skied absolute cold smoke blower pow high above an undercast this weekend. The prettiest day I've ever skied by far. Snow conditions were surreal. I'll likely never to my dieing day be able to explain exactly why the snow was just so perfect. I'll chalk it up to "lucky magic snow" gifted to us by Ullr.
Indeed, some of the best days of powder skiing are purely a matter of luck; one might say they are accidental. As it turns out, we got spooked off steeper terrain by an alarmingly weak layer that failed without any stress added to it once it was cut free from the rest of the snowpack. Perhaps one of the luckier decisions we've made to date for reasons both unknown and known...
The Full TR is behind the picture

If you want to read about our scare, we have a small writeup about the weak layers that spooked us. play it safe folks... it's still stupid early

Wow what a great weekend at Magic! So surreal to finally be riding the red chair again and awesome to ride there with such a great cast of characters. Sunday was the day to be there though, grooming was better than I've gotten at okemo or K so far this year, and nobody was there to be in the way, so it was really like having your very own VERY fresh mountain. Super fast skiing for sure, lots of fun and I laughed like I haven't since, well... Last season. Family dinner night was nice, thanks to TC+ for making it even better.
One thing I can say without reservation is that Magic is seriously kicking ass with the snow quality and coverage. The trails they opened up came out pure Vermontobahn. One sketchy section at the bottom of trick on saturday, but it was a banked high speed corner on Sunday. Nobody could believe how great it was, we even went and woke up the cat driver to high five him. So a HUGE thanks to the whole MtnOps Crew over there, your work did not go unnoticed- also it was pretty awesome to have the groomer come out Saturday night and directly ask us if we saw any parts in particular that needed work or extra attention that night. Dude even put in a few kickers around the hill for us for the next day! That right there is about the coolest thing ever.
Bumpskier, we need you! hurry back!
Huge thanks to Buttah for the awesome extra effort to get a pait of MoHos mounted up for me in time to ski them sunday
-any chance you can post up the spread from my yard sale on saturday? That was a pretty good one, loving that headcam dood!
