Updated...man these events are awesome. I wish I wasn't so busy yesterday I would have really gone in depth. But as you can see - at least we got the point down.
I'll have something up tonight regarding this weekend/Monday event.

Whats the deal with the flyers and Boucher's with all the good 2 for ones?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Hopefully there's still some snow left tomorrow.
Actually, my keen sense is telling me that it will dump 45 cm overnight, but only south of the border, leaving the roads open to braver drivers.

I actually liked your way up as it is probably the most isolated, scenic way. Trails on the other side (where they were filming people sledding???) had a snowmaking base, however. The best snow of all (over a foot, and supportive) was a very short shot skier's left of the peak (called bumps?), which led back to the side that had snowmaking. It was an inefficient route, but there was no snowmobile noise on the way up, and I didn't get any core shots.

Sugarbush update ...

Ten more inches last night, almost two feet since Monday and it looks like we might get a decent storm starting later in the weekend too. Ropes are dropping faster than we can ski the powder!

Doesn't really look decent anymore for this storm.
Never was feeling it anyway...
I'll write it up but I gotta say we should really put the idea of synpotic low pressure systems bringing us big snows to bed.
Nina doesn't equal big coastal pow making bombs
it equals sw flow, lake effect, elevation dependent storms that track right over us and shit that cuts to our west.
Until I see the cyclogenesis happening off Long Island this season I ain't buying no coastal solution.
