    Well, that was satisfying.

Not really. Reality based shit is more my Cup of Tea. For all it's embellishment, the Sopranos and the Wire fit the bill for me. Dragons, dwarves, shires and verbose monologuing fairies don't scratch my itch regardless of the character development. Glad you guys like it, it's all about fun. I'm sure it's a great show but we all have a smell test.

Honestly, this show has more in common with The Tudors or The Borgias than LOTR. I've read all the books and there's some fantasy elements, but it's much more Machiavellian court intrigue, assassinations, and epic battles than robes and wizard hats. That's likely to change with the future zombie army by the end of the seven-book story arc, but so far there are only a few dragons and magical elements. As far as the human elements, it seems fairly true to late Medieval Europe.

I missed that, but I was half dozing off until Kingslayer tried bangin his twisted sister on the corpse of their asshole child. Then I started dozing again....kind of a boring episode, I guess they had to take a break from the bloodshed to set it up for the next episode.

There were two in the last two episodes - One implied with the midgets "fighting" and then the obvious one in front of Mereen with Daario and the Champion. Why do you think you're so clever?

What? Lol, neither of those. Think princess and Davos and a certain pronunciation of a word with a lot of silent letters.

Sounds much better when described this way. I thought it might just be Hunger Games without the Autism plus some dragons.

I'm behind and just finished Breaking Bad. I'm thinking House of Cards or Air Wolf next.

    Also choice:
"Another victim of surprise circumcision..." for Varys after referencing Theon.

"He's traveling around with Arya, putting up with her sass, threatening the country's chicken supply," for the Hound.

Jesus they departed from the books a lot that episode. Hope it works out for the best. King of the White Walkers though... really? I think just being ice zombies was enough motivation and backstory for them.
