    Crevasse Rescue Anyone?

Just thought I'd throw a shout out to see if anyone is interested in a one day crevasse rescue course. I've got the course setup with Sean Isaac on Sunday Sept 18, likely at Yam bluffs. He gave us his ACC price (this isn't an ACC course, just something my buddy and I setup) which is pretty decent, $105/person. I have two spots left. PM me if interested

Was thinking of doing a practice session (unguided) for any one interested in skiing together. Probably some time in October when i'm home from work. Would be good to get a practice in after taking a course to keep it all fresh. ^Good price.

Great idea, I would mos def be up for that.

Its amazing how easy it is to forget most of the 'knowledge' shortly after a course. I took a short roping then a glacier travel course on consecutive weekends back in June and it was cool to put some of the short roping techniques we learned the weekend before into practice on the steeper sections of the glacier. Helped (at least some of) the info stick. Keep me posted if you're looking to get some people together

    Cheers!

Fellas keep me in the loop with a possible Oct practice run. I'm interested and could use the practice.

Saturday at Kicking Horse I was skiing the glades that come off CPR ridge directly below the Gondola.
I had traversed the ridge until the trees started getting tight and the terrain gets a little "cliffy".

Anyway, hit a rock and ejected from my 196 Lhasa Pow which, after two hours of searching, is still somewhere in the snow.
It's got a marker duke binder and I'll give $100 to whoever finds it
Your ski was found. Contact me via PM and I'll get you in touch with patrol to get it back!
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

If you hear of some Icelantic Nomad SFTs found on CPR ridge into Crystal bowl, let me know. Ski patrol thought getting me to the ambulance to put my kneecap back together was more important than finding my skis. Pshh.
