So with the Snowmax card dead, I was wondering what Panorama was going to do.
Turns out they just announced their own card. $134 (? + tax) and first four days free. Blacked out over Christmas and Family Day long weekend.
I'll get one, since there are usually about four good days a season at Panorama.
Oh, and Eldereldo says the Louise website indicates that their season's pass holders get $50 tix at KH and Castle, so no need to buy a Louise Plus card for that.

Props to powslut for getting us into Deeper. Couldn't hear much, but the footage was epic. It was fucking roadtrip and half for sure though, made it home in time for class this morning!
Life is simple. Go Explore.

Absolutely love that Rae video, solid work hahaha. Went to bow hut for the weekend, was surprisingly awesome - didn't even have to use the crampons. A few shots from Rhonda:

Downhillrider, what was the crevasse situation like above the hut?? Climbers right side better to gain the upper plateau? I've only seen it under a spring snowpack...
I too will be up there soon.

I've often thought about fall skiing on the Wapta, but fall snow bridges can be for shit. Those pics from Rhondda have given me serious wood about heading up there...

^ kind of what I was thinking with the thin snow bridges ect, but on the right slope if careful and sussed out properly.....good times. Fuck I can't stop looking at those pics.

To gain the plateau above the hut I'd want to stick to one side - either climbers left directly climbers right of the steep section, or much further climbers right. There's a section in between I wouldn't want to be very close to pretty much upon gaining the plateau. Agreed with the good times if careful, and thorough, and frequent discussions helps with that I think. If you guys need another partner fire me a PM, would definitely be up for another trip soon!
