    Some re-worked powder shots from last season...

    I just picked up LightRoom 3 last month, so I've been going through some of last season's pictures and re-working them with some different settings. Here's what I've got so far.




    I know vignetting isn't entirely popular, but I think it works here as it's not overdone:

    Agreed. In the others, they all seem to have some distracting foreground element that takes away from the shot...

    Great... using two 40D's now- love them both. I wish I had the money for a 7D, but that isn't happening anytime soon. Can't wait to try out my "new" 70-200 f/2.8 this winter.

    Why are all of the skiers dropping their hand?

    Colors seem to be alright, I'm just not in love with any of the shots.

    I'm pretty sure all of these shots were taken with the Sigma 18-125 OS HSM.

    Sweet! Almost at the halfway point for my off season...can't wait to click back into the bindings
