Mostly
I predict the douchbaggery will be at an alltime high with the amount of wannabe pro's that keep moving here (and Blunderson.com sticking around
)...Luckily the dumb follow the dumb and while fly on the wall, willows and anything resembling a pillow will be hammered over and over, we can laugh at the carnage on the chair while enjoying faceshots on terrain that is no longer cool enough to warrant attention.

Wind pissed rain with occasional thickening in PDX today. Hard to tell if the sun ever came up. What a beautiful day.
Any suggestion on Avy training course in the PDX area? I'm nearly done with the AT rig, now need to learn about safety (meetings).

20" in 24hrs at Crystal with more on the way. Sound like they really wanna open this weekend:
The goods have arrived! A very healthy layer of snow blankets the slopes - and there's still more on the way. We are evaluating the mountain this morning and will have an update later this morning or early-afternoon, in other words get your gear packed (just in case)!
God damn I'm so pumped right now.

Crystal Opens!!
skicrystal.com:
TIME TO HIT THE SLOPES!
It’s official – we’re opening tomorrow (Friday) with very limited operations! We’ll run the Discovery & Quicksilver chairlifts and tickets will be discounted to $20. We are evaluating other parts of the mountain and plan to open more terrain this weekend – stay tuned for updates!

Crystal just looooves to snake Baker and be the first one open. How many years have they done this? Open some low angle groomers and take the claim while Baker opens a day or two later with near full operation.

No, it's a really really good thing. When Baker opens first, the douchbaggery is insane. Having Whistler and Crystal open first will keep the line for first chair down to under 90 minutes.
