    Angry 2011 K2 KUNG FUJAS VS 2011 K2 OBSETHED

    2011 K2 KUNG FUJAS VS 2011 K2 OBSETHED

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just looking for some advice from people who have skied both of these...

I am getting a great deal through K2, and I need to decide which setup to get out of these two pairs. I live in Denver (6ft 180lbs) and only get out to the mountains on the weekends so my powder days are limited. So i need a ski that can handle in-bounds on days that i dont get the snow, and also can float great in the powder on the days it dumps. What scares me about both is the extra width of the Obsethed and that it is a rocker and the only 105 under foot and extra flex of the Kung Fujas.

Also, they both come with the Griffon Shizo Frantic bindings that are not drilled in and actually have rivets to move the bindings. Would you suggest getting these with the skis or getting another binding.

Anyone, thanks a ton for your help. Obviously having a hard time deciding

Haven't skied either, but the new Fujas look amazing for inbounds skiing... like a softer Gotama maybe? I'd go for those if given the choice.

117mm waist of the ObSethed is potentially a bit much for hard snow, plus it's rockered like a Hellbent this year.

Can you get any other K2's? If the Obsethed is too wide and the Fujas is too soft then the Sidestash should be just right.

I looked at both and ordered the Fujas. I haven't skied either model, but on paper they struck me as a slightly larger version of the Rossi S3.

I'm going to put some Dukes on them.

+1, The Sidestash looks like a winner to me. However; it does not have a twin tip.
