Awesome to see such a good turnout down there and an awesome weekend of racing. After a disappointing finish in the DH, I am REALLY PUMPED to have put together a clean run and win my cat! This race really means a lot to me (and everyone else I'm sure). There was definitely some serious competition down there and some got skunked by weather, the rest by crashes and mechanicals. I think it really was anybody's race.

Conditions on the bottom half of the course were the most severe I've ever seen. I'm really glad I got through before it hit, PROPS TO EVERYONE WHO FINISHED IN THAT! The temp dropped about 30 degrees and the rain and hail were torrential and painful. The trail was a river and the hail was piling up and forming dams. CRAZY.

Mr AG, sorry to hear about your flat. That really sucks, two years in a row. You'll have to run solid tires next year!

Backcountry1pr, are you Eric? If so nice job on the win, smoking time! I'm Sam, I'll be in CB tomorrow if you're into an evening ride. I know you said you're working but I'll be in town for a couple days, gonna try to hit those rides we talked about. Would love some conditions beta.

Also got give Springsproject a shout out, he took second in his cat with no prerun, and it was his first Super D. Also he took his jacket out of his pack in favor of a beer for the finish line. Good plan until the squall hit! :P

Thanks to Utah DH Series and Go-Ride crews for mailing the whole thing happen, class act all the way!
There's nothing better than sliding down snow and flying through the air.

That was so fun racing that trail. I'm grateful that the weather held off for my run and I was able to actually enjoy how nasty that storm was, even if I was tucked into the bed of a small pickup. I can only imagine it was pure survival-mode for people who had to ride during the onslought. Can't wait to race it again
