i stayed in menton and did a day trip in. it's ok to hang and look around but i couldnt get the hell outta there fast enough. tons of popped collar douchebags and hot chicks. do the walk from end to end of monte carlo. on the south side is the aquarium and museum which are really nice. if you have the opp to get on a boat, that would be tits. other than that, hit the hilltop park and smoke a fatty and just check out the view.

edit: if you have the chance to get out of the city for a bit, take the train to finale ligure and rent a mountain bike and shuttle service. DH biking to the sea!

that's not what i said. if i must, the air of pretension is so thick there that it's nauseating, even with 'the hot chicks' which are a dime a dozen on french beaches. even with your $600 shoes you're going to look like a bum, and an oogling tourist bum at that. you'd have better luck in nice with the easyjet crowd.

Go to the plage mala. It's an awesome beach in Cap d'Ail, a French town that borders Monte Carlo. It has a great bar/restaurant and the fact that you need to walk down a few hundred steps to get to it keeps it uncrowded.

Rent a car and drive the coast in both directions, its incredible. Cannes has some of the most beautiful and fit women you will ever see and on the Italian side the food is out of this world. Go early, finding a spot to park is difficult.
Most importantly BRING LOTS OF MONEY.
