    Black Diamond Customer Service-Two Thumbs Up!

    Just wanted to let everyone I emailed Black Diamond last week about a broken wire for the BOA system on my Factor boot.

    I let them know I am in Las Leñas, Argentina for the season.

    They responded right away to inform me one of their reps was headed this week and would bring the part, which he did.

    Kudos to Black Diamond, I really appreciate it!

    ^This^ has not been my experience. My boots have shit the bed. First attempt at contact with BD went unanswered. Eventually sent another email and was told to email another guy. Other guy said he'd send the parts for the repair. That was 28ish of last month. My boots have continued to degrade to the point of being unskiable. No parts have arrived. I am not so happy with BD customer service.

    That sucks dude, and is out of character for BD. Any issue I've had has been dealt with very well.

    This is out of the ordinary.. Try giving them a call.. Or try stopping by your local shop and having them call.
    If you need I work for a BD dealer, and can try to get your parts for you. PM me if you need.

    I called & talked to Joe. Although he said records indicated that parts had been mailed he couriered me new parts. Couriered parts arrived this morning. My boots are fixed. I am happy.

    A month ago I sent in three year old Fritschi freerides in for a cracked toe mount, and they sent me a brand new set! Awesome service
