    headbanging electro

    i've been listening to an ungodly amount of electro lately and figured i'd share some of the bangers that i've come across. guaranteed to get the party bumping.

    crank the bass and get down.

    board up the windows, it'll get rowdy with this one.

    here's one off of pendulum's new album to get your saturday night started. i'm liking how the new album incorporates a couple different styles of electronic music.

    i've decided i'm going to just turn this thread into my dumping ground for tracks of every electronic variety.

    here's a dope instrumental hip hop track from star slinger. this here's some baby-making music. i highly recommend picking up his volume 1 lp from his site if you dig the track. it's free and jam packed full of awesome .

    on a side note, i'm looking to discover some more good electronic music blogs. i've got a couple that i follow quite regularly, but i'd love to broaden my horizons.

    check out thissongissick.com

    it's not exclusively electro, he posts some hip hop and poppy type stuff but he puts up some good electro songs from time to time, quite a bit of dubstep. i've gotten some good tracks off there, has really beefed up my electronic music collection.

    not much to say about this track, other than to put it to 11 and groove out.

    Without adding youtube that slows things down, below are a few off the top of my head with important remixes missing (you'll have to dig a bit to find the best versions):

    * Golden Boy with Miss Kittin - Rippin Kittin
    * Ladytron - International Dateline
    * Shokata - Love Sees No Colour
    * Shakedown - Love Game (Mousse.T vs Eraserhead - 313 Dub)
    * Planet Funk - The Switch (King Unique Pushin Vocal Mix)
    * almost anything with Dirty Funker or Bassbin Twins attached to it

    i've been digging a ton of different disco house artists lately, but my favorite by far has been duck sauce. here's an absolute banger that they have put out.

    Did they manage to turn down the vocal effects a bit? In silico would have been much better if they could have managed that.

    If this is representative, this could be a great album.
    I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

    it's wednesday, so you all know what that means. dubstep bangers! if you're only going to listen to one of the tracks, check out let you go, probably my favorite dubstep song. you can also probably tell that i'm just a big fan of nero in general.

    going to see him tonight at the house of blues in boston with crystal castles, sinden, and destructo. from what i've heard, he puts on an awesome live show so i'm stoked for it.

    i thought the place was going to blow up when this dropped.

    rusko absolutely killed it last night. sinden and destructo were rather dope as well. as for crystal castles, they were just really high pitched noise, couldn't distinguish anything from it. left after two songs to catch the T back to somerville.
