Monarch Crest Trail - different DH routes?
I've ridden Monarch Crest a few times, but I always do the same way. I don't even know the route we take down, but I keep hearing about there being 2-3 options to take once you are on the crest and ready to go down.
Rainbow trail is one I don't think I've taken. It seems like it's not all downhill from what I hear.
Just looking for some good info that anyone can pass along.

South Foose's and Greens are basically all downhill. Rainbow is not. 1500 feet of climbing there I believe.

Think of the Rainbow as an up/down/up/down/continue traverse before the final descent. I do not know the other routes.
