Was surprised to see that, though it's supposed to initially air this Sunday, it's already up On Demand, so gave it a shot: meh
I'll be patient for one or two more episodes, but heck, so far the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen/Dracula/Etc. already covered all this.

    If you are into Toons.

I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

As the dust begins to settle a bit, I'm still watching The Knick, The Honorable Woman and The Strain. The Last Ship, Tyrant and Extant have faded into the smog. A bit of a surprise (still early) is Outlander: very well done period piece but I fear the love story (it is a bodice ripper, after all) will soon destroy it.

Happy Valley has been pretty good, female lead is a funny character. We tried to get a late start on Boardwalk Empire but just couldn't stand Buschemi's young assistant character with the hitler youth haircut.

I started watching Cheers from the beginning a while ago and have just about finished it up. I did't realize there were so many of them, but just the same, they are pretty dang funny if you haven't seen them all.

Manhattan on WGN has been good - dark and angsty. Coincidentally, we live in northern New Mexico and this summer the wife has been on a reading binge about Los Alamos and Oppenheimer and dragging me to museums and sites in Los Alamos. Pretty fascinating history.

We started watching the new Ken Burns Roosevelt series last night. It's going to be a 7 part series but believe you can watch the whole thing at anytime on the pbs website. The first installment last night was good.

    Great first episode of Forever.

Boardwalk Empire doing a very good job of tieing the strands together.

The League is on top form.

Hand of God could turn out to be excellent.

I watch almost no popular tv. 24 didn't entertain me, never watched sopranos, the good wife, gregs anatomy or any of the popular shows.

I only watch ice road truckers because its the only snow I can see in the summer, but i'm going to give the flash on cw a shot. I have no idea why the flash fascinates so many guys but it does.

Not new at all, but I'm working my way through The Wire for the second time, free on Amazon if you have a prime membership. What a fucking amazing show.

Are they better after the first episode? That was horribly written and the acting was worse.
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer
