[QUOTE=Downbound Train;2940299]No, I didn't report him. I'm hitting him up for the $450 that I have to pay out of pocket. My wife talked to him this week and he is so remorseful that I don't want to make trouble for the poor bastard. He's a pretty young guy. I'm thinking no harm, no foul. He said he will never touch that kind of proceedure again.
I wonder how much $$$$ an ambulance ride would have added to the ticket??

Actually,there was harm.
And a big bill.
This guy was totally unqualified to do this procedure, and there was no chance that he would have done it correctly without a tournequet.
He should pay your bill.
Just as a motorist who is a fault pays your tab. But this guy is worse.it was not just an accident.
I can see why you dont want the lawyer sleeze, but it would be perfectly ok to demand that he pay the full bill. That will force him to report it to his insurance, which is good. they will make sure he does not do it again.
And this is probably not the only dumb shit thing he does. so you are teaching him a lesson which will help future patientshi

You aren't wrong, but I figure if he covers my $400, the rest is between him and Blue Cross. They must have been told how I ended up there by the surgeon. No?
I truely believe he learned his lesson. I sure learned mine. That's what counts to me.
Besides, If I go after him, the rest of the Dr.s in the office might notch down the otherwise awesome care we have gotten there over the years. Good people, know our names, scripts with a phone call, MRI's upon request, that kind of service. Worth keeping intact.
