The basic foot print is 70mm x 40mm, the part itself snaps into position on top of the other plastic toe piece then the metal parts nests inside. After measuring the PP overhangs 4mm on each side of your plate. Link to pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/sbutts1963/2220111#
I just ordered another set of Sollyfit plates from you, for my Billy Goats. Do you think you may change this any time soon? If so I could wait till you make the change.
I plan to ski the current setup soon, Friday hopefully.

My S914s take the following screws to mount to the Sollyfit:
toe front: 4 M5x18 smallhead
toe rear: 4 m5x18 flathead
heel front: 4 m5x12 flathead
heel rear: 4 m5x20 button head
there is not 5th hole for the heel

Jon,
Do you have Specs for BSL ranges that will work for a given mount? IIRC both FTs and Sollys have between 12-15mm of +/- adjust-ability. Are both in the center of the range on the sollyfits? I ask because it looks like i facked my mount. Lined up for a 318bsl alpine boot but cant adj my dynafits down to fit my 313 bsl scarpas. at first glance it looks like i forgot to account for Scarpa setting their toe fittings back 4mm from others.

J, tried to contact you through the website and via pm yesterday but haven't heard back. I submitted a new order with the correct screws for the S914 and wanted to cancel the older order that I had you hold up. Sorry for all the extra work.

For all the boots I know about, both the dynafit and salomon heel should be perfectly centered in their adjustment tracks if the plates are mounted using the correct BSL. Perhaps your boots do have a variation on the fitting location - BUT FT's have +/- 13mm of adjustment. And an extra 4mm plus the 5mm difference should be well within the adjustment range. Puzzled!

False alarm! problem discovered. After removing the heel piece in anticipation of remounting the rear plates i found the culprit. Somehow during my mount job one of my FT's picked up a small piece of masking tape stuck on the underside of the heel track and it was impeding their ability to adjust smaller. The extra resistance lead me to believe that i had bottomed out on their range when i really had another 4-5mm to go. Because i ASSumed the mount was off i never even bothered to try to adj the other ski
I did forget to account for the Scarpa toe fitting variation but never the less, i have 1-2mm to spare and am good to go.
Embarrassed that i didn't notice the tape before but stoked that i don't have to remount.

My plan failed miserably. My machine shop guy failed to come through on the plates. And now that I'm travelling I'm reluctant to try to put inserts in in a strange shop. So I rode my Goliaths with FKS for several weeks and loved them. Then I pulled the FKS off and redrilled for FT12s, hardmounted (no inserts yet). And I hate them. The extra ramp delta makes me feel like I'm on my tip toes and I have to compensate by going backseat in anything fast or soft off-piste. This makes me think my original idea has merit - the Dynatable/Turnfit toe plate with inserts for the back for both bindings. Certainly when I get home I'm going to investigate ways to equal out the ramp towards the FKS race binder delta - I much prefer the flatter stance. Although I'd prefer jondrums came up with an elegant solution rather than me hack together something stupid.
I also had second thoughts about turntable bindings for another reason - switching my Titan soles is a PITA, although not a really big deal. I'd rather use AT soles all the time and I doubt the AT soles fit in the turntable toe/heels. Currently my dream setup would be Plums (with less ramp delta than FT12s) combined with mythical Salomon touring bindings (that accept AT soles and release reliably) on Sollyfits. Ideally the Sollys would be lighter weight than Dukes, more around the turntable race weight or better. A man can dream.
I did really like the turntables though, my first foray into them. Almost as much as 916s, without the toe wing issues.

The reason SollyFits exist and DynaLooks don't yet exist, is because the driver toe adjusts to fit AT soles.
Whether one likes Salomon as a resort binding or not, everyone can admit that they're bomber, and the only one that has vertically adjustable toe-piece. That makes it an obvious choice for swapping with a dynafit binding.DynaDuke, SollyFit, DynaLook, Inserts, and Tools

Yes, that's a very important point. I might have to revisit 916s. I've got an almost new pair still at home. I wanted to save a few grams with the turntables and I actually really liked them. And didn't want broken toe-wing AFDs or wandering wing screws.

I am sure it has been discussed, but can someone refer me to a thread about using Sollys w/adjustable toe piece height with AT boot vibram soles?

Weather was sucky for skiing this past weekend, got 1 day in, fiddled with my boards. I like these plates a lot, so much I put them on my Billy Goats too.

The overhang of the Dynafit Power Plate on top of the Jondrums plate is minimal, seems to work fine.

I have been using Sally S914 with Sollyfits this year. When I went to remount them, I noticed cracks in the binding plastic abound the screws hole in the rear binding pieces, all four holes in one, the front two in the other. When I first started using this combination, I used plain blue locktite, later I switched to Loctite 242 I got from Jondrums.
Just to confirm, the Loctite 242 is not supposed to deteriorate plastic, right? And besides, I am not sure the blue loctite I used at the begging of the season is the problem. No one else has had this problem with Solly binders of blue loctite deteriorating Solly plastic, right? The plastic doesn't look "recrystalized" around the screw holes as others have reported with rossi and 22 designs plastic that had problems. The cracks extend pretty far from the screw holes. I am wondering if I tightend the screws too hard?
Can I replace just th plastic base plates of these binders?

I guess the 242 is just blue loctite......
