Justified
Some lighter weight violence, good dialogue, fun plot lines ...... it's growing on me.

Agreed, definitely becoming a good show...FX has had a run of some sick new shows, SOA, Always Sunny, The League, etc. Kinda like the HBO of regular cable. But I think Justified has a lot of potential.

I've watched a couple of episodes and still am not sold.
Kind of bummed me out how many times they used the catch phrase "Justified" in the first episode. I have a pet peeve about TV shows and movies that feel the need to hammer the title into the audiences brain over and over again as if we've forgotten what we're watching.
That said, I am intrigued to dig up the Elmore Leonard short story upon which this is based (and give the show props for actually having Leonard onboard as a producer and consultant)."Man, we killin' elephants in the back yard..."

I'm sold on it, if for any other reason than the strength of the lead. Timothy Olyphant is cool, calm, and collected, yet has no problem swinging into extreme violence mode at the drop of a hat. Always nice to see them work a scene into every episode where he talks down to some tough guy hillbilly piece of shit, then inevitably shoots his ass.

I liked it when Raylan got drunk in the bar, picked a fight with the two loudmouths and got his ass kicked. It wasn't his getting has ass kicked I liked so much but the fact that he played that character like he almost wanted to get whooped, and took it in stride. I certainly didn't expect that scene to come out that way.
Love the show.

Ditto on the good whoppin'. The best part was him going back in and asking the guy for his hat back, and saying "and this time I won't be drunk".
Decent plot lines and fun to follow, nice spins on different characters from his ex to the resident trouble maker, I dig it.Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.

I like it. Not a ton of substance, but that's OK, it's high-quality TV and not every show needs to be The Wire. The ex is nice and so is Joelle Carter.
Been an Olyphant fan since he used to do the sports on the dearly departed Indie 103 FM in Los Angeles, so I like seeing him get a break, as well.In the long run, we're all dead.- John Maynard Keynes
