Thread: WTB: cheap Downhill / freeride frame

so i have some extra parts laying around and im looking to get my brother into downhilling. so im looking for a cheap mediumish frame.

looking for an older stinky, coiler, coilair anything really with 5" or 6" of travel. show me what you have. cosmetics dont matter.

I have an old stinky D the mango and green frame comes with a block 8 crank. It is old and beat runs near 5" of travel. If you want it, it is yours for shipping.
(I also have a 24 intense mag 30 and gazz rubber, a beat up front wheel mavix 3 somethin' and a matching nearly new 3.0 nevagal tire)

There's a cheap Stinky on Boise's craigslist. I don't know the guy but it seemed to be a cheap way to get into Dh'ing.

A guy in my 4x4 club has a large 04 Specialized Bighit frame he wants $250 for.

I have a Schwinn/Lawwill Straight 6 frame that might fit the bill.
The head/seat angle are adjustable via a trunnion shock mount.
It's got about 5.5 of travel has an integrated, ghetto chain tensioner.
I have an extra shock that comes with it.
